Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: A low bass Moog synthesizer tune, followed by a laser zap, and three more synth notes.

3rd Logo (1985-1996)

Visuals: On a black background there's a blue dot near the centre. The dot then moves back quickly to the left while the WQLN logo in the same color fades in, and goes to draw the line of the "Q", while "ERIE" in blue and "54" in yellow flash in below the right side of the logo.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the show.
