Background

WYZ was a pirate television channel in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, that broadcast at nights on weekends from 1979 to 1981.

Logo:

  • Intro: On a blue backdrop, the letters "WYZ" in a rocky font in yellow. Behind them, a yellow, diagonal line surrounded by fireworks and stars. Below it, the text "MIDNIGHT" in red, "T.V." in yellow, and "STATION" in red.
  • Outro: "WYZ", a yellow "W", black "Y", and yellow "Z" linked together in the shape of a television antenna on a white background. On the tail of the "Y", the text "Einde", with the first "E" using the tail of the "Y". To the right of it, an orange star.
