Logo (1996-2000)

Visuals: Several gold-colored lines zoom out on a black background. Afterwards, they rotate to reveal the words "VIDEO PREMIERE" in gold. As it flips, "WALT DiSNEY" in the corporate Disney font glides down above the "VIDEO PREMIERE" text. After that, trails of pixie dust appear and encircle the dot of the "i" from "DiSNEY". The trail then hits the dot, creating a small explosion.

Variants:

On the UK VHS of Aladdin and the King of Thieves and the UK and Australian DVD releases of Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, "DiSNEY" simply flies down from the top of the screen, and "VIDEO PREMIERE" moves up and rotates into place. This variant is silent.
On Madeline: Lost in Paris, instead of the usual logo, "Disney" in the corporate font appears at the top and the word "presents" appears below in Times New Roman. Then, the black background fades into the opening scene, and the text fades out afterwards. This variant is silent. There is another version of it used on the UK VHS of Belle's Magical World, except it's superimposed on the film's opening scene.

Technique: Mix of CGI with traditional animation.

Audio: A drumroll is heard accompanied by a fast-paced flute tune, followed by a four-note dreamy jingle with a flourish during the explosion.

Availability: Outside of the Madeline variant, this was only ever used outside of the United States. It can be seen on international VHS and VCD releases of some Disney direct-to-video movies, such as Beauty & The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin.

It is retained on current prints of Madeline: Lost in Paris, despite WildBrain currently owning the rights to it. It was, however, removed from the 2010 Shout! Factory DVD release of it, though.
