* There is an in-credit text variant for shows or TV movies that would say "WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION".
* It is also seen on the 1998 made-for-TV movie ''Terror in the Mall'' and international prints of ''Police Academy: The Series'' (however, U.S. airings had the 1995 Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution logo or the 2003 WBTV logo instead).
* On very rare occasions, the banner would say "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION".
* The "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION" variant was only seen on the game show ''$pend it Fast'', which hasn't been seen since WE stopped airing it in the early 2000s.

Background

Warner Bros. International Television Production, formerly known as Warner Bros. International Television, is the international television production division of Warner Bros., first formed in 1989 to produce original programming and local adaptations to formats owned by Warner Bros. In 2009, the company rebranded and became the current name. Currently, the division operates in 14 different countries.

Warner Bros. International Television

1st Logo (September 20, 1997-2002)

Visuals: On a cloudy sky background (similar to the cloud background for the 1996 Warner Home Video logo) the WB shield is on the middle of the screen with "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION PRODUCTION" written on its banner. The Time Warner Entertainment byline is shown below.

Variants:

  • An in-credit text variant exists, which is used for shows or TV movies that would say "WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION".
  • Sometimes, the banner would say "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION".
  • In Code Name: Eternity, a version with sky blue background is used. Some episodes also have this logo stretched.

Technique: Live action for the clouds, or none.

Audio: The end theme of the show, the 1994 WBTV theme (Terror in the Mall uses the low toned version) or none.

Availability:

  • Seen on Zorro: The Animated Series, The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor, as well as on some episodes of Code Name: Eternity on Sci-Fi Channel (now "SyFy") and the short-lived Dark Realm on the now-defunct Chiller network.
  • It is also seen on the 1998 made-for-TV movie Terror in the Mall and international prints of Police Academy: The Series (however, U.S. airings had the 1995 Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution logo or the 2003 WBTV logo instead).
  • The "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION" variant was only seen on the game show $pend it Fast, which hasn't been seen since WE stopped airing it in the early 2000s.

2nd Logo (December 24, 1997)

Visuals: A 3D WB shield, with colors similar to the 1st logo, stands on a simple blue background with simple white clouds. Then, the "WARNER BROS. TELEVISION" text appears with a typewriter letter-by-letter effect. Once the text finishes forming, the text "PRESENTE" in dark blue fades in.

Variant: The closing variants have the logo on the right side of the screen. Noël Chez Bugs Bunny has the logo stretched horizontally. The copyright text is also lower and larger.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the specials.

Availability: This logo was only seen on the 1997 France 2 two-part Christmas special: Noël Chez Bugs Bunny and Opération Bugs Bunny.

3rd Logo (2001?-2008)

Warner Bros. International Television Production

1st Logo (2013-)

Visuals: There is the WB shield on a sky blue background with a slight lens flare effect, and the banner shines. The byline is also absent and as a result, the logo takes up more space on the screen.

Variants:

  • A prototype variant from 2013 exists, where the shield slowly zooms towards the screen. The background is also full of clouds that are moving from left to right, and the banner text is in a different font.
  • A second prototype from 2014 also exists, where the W and B letters are smaller and the banner text is sticking out of the banner. The trademark symbol is also missing.
  • On BingoLotto, a copyright stamp in white is tacked on the logo.
  • An in-credit variant exists, which is used on some shows.
  • An extended version also exists, which can be spotted in the seventh season of SuomiLOVE, lasting one to two seconds more than usual. The shield is also freeze-framed.
  • On Man in Room 301, a scope variant of the logo is used. The logo is also darker than usual.

Technique: 2D digital animation designed by Winbush Immersive.

Audio: The 2003 WBTV theme, the ending theme of the show, or none.

Availability:

  • The regular logo can be spotted on The Bachelor New Zealand, The Bachelor Australia, Game of Games, The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, as well as a few other shows.
  • The logo has also been used in tandem with the third, fourth and fifth logos since 2020.

  • This logo was still seen on First Dates Ireland (as of series 9) on RTÉ2.

2nd Logo (June 1, 2018-2021)

Visuals: A CGI version of the 2003 Warner Bros. Television logo, but the shield and cloud background are redone, with the shield redone in 3D and made to look like the shield from the 1998 theatrical logo, and looking a little shinier. The banner also reads "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION PRODUCTION" instead of the "WARNER BROS. TELEVISION". There is also a trademark symbol above the banner. The clouds move to the right of the shield as it zooms in slowly.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The 2003 WBTV theme.

Availability: It has been spotted on some shows, such as All or Nothing: New Zealand All Blacks.

3rd Logo (October 23, 2021-)

Visuals: On a realistic, detailed cloud background, the 2019 WB shield zooms out from the bottom of the screen in an extreme upward angle and then settles in its normal position, shining towards the end of the animation. Below it, "WARNER BROS." in white and in the same font used on the company's print logo (Warner Bros. Sans) in its bold condensed version is seen fades in, with "INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION PRODUCTION" in its heavy version of the same font below it. The byline is also seen below.

  • May 29, 2022-: "A WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY COMPANY"

Variants:

  • There is a version where the shield zooms in slowly similarly to the previous logo as a lens flare shines over it. It's basically the regular variant of the 2021 Warner Bros. Television logo.
    • Sometimes, this variant has a freeze-frame at the end, that lasts about a second which also exists.
    • Yle Areena's print of the first episode of the 8th season of SuomiLOVE cuts the logo short. This is probably due to Yle Areena cutting live broadcasts badly.
  • On BingoLotto, a copyright stamp appears below the logo.
  • On Partisan, the logo is in-credit and in yellow.

Technique: CGI by Devastudios. The sky and clouds were done using Terragen from Planetside Software.

Audio: The middle section of the 2021 Warner Bros. Pictures fanfare by Ludwig Göransson. This is essentially an extended version of the alternate Warner Bros. Television fanfare.

Audio Variants:

  • Sometimes, the main 2021 Warner Bros. Television fanfare is used.
  • Otherwise, it uses the ending theme of the show instead.

A copyright notice then slides down below the logo. The border in the background is also absent.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, a copyright notice is absent.
  • A black background version exists.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: The long version of the 2021 TV fanfare by Ludwig Göransson, the closing theme to the show or none.
