These are the logo variations seen on trailers throughout the years by Warner Bros. Pictures, with more to be added overtime.

The Wizard of Oz (1939): A rainbow appears behind a Yellow Brick Road shield, and is tilted like the Happy Feet Two and Jupiter Ascending variants. Appears on the 2013 IMAX 3D re-release trailer and the trailer for the 2019 4K re-release.


Altered States (1980): The 1973 logo is blue against a black background, while the company name and the Warner Communications byline are in an Avant Garde font below.


Blade Runner (1982): On the trailer for The Final Cut (2007), the 1998 logo is glitchy.


National Lampoon's Vacation (1983): The Warner Communications byline on the 1972 "W" logo has a reddish tint to it.


Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986): A fly is buzzing about the logo.


Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987): A ball bounces around the WB shield.


Caddyshack II (1988): A yellow golf ball flies around the WB shield.


Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989): The animated silhouette of the Mastermind walks in front of the Warner logo, laughs evilly and lights a cigar, which promptly blows up in his face, turning the screen to black.


The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990): White flames burn the logo and transitions into the trailer.


Curly Sue (1991): Curly Sue's hand picks up the shield and reveals footage from the film.


Batman Returns (1992): On the theatrical trailer, it's exactly like the original Batman.


Batman Forever (1995): The cloud background fades away to a misty blue background.


Twister (1996, North America): The background cross-fades to the storm clouds and the logo flashes away. Only on the theatrical trailer and TV spots.

On the TV Spots, it's the same variant but the logo gets flashed at once.

On one version of the TV Spot, the logo gets covered up by a tornado.


Space Jam (1996): The WB shield and byline are superimposed on a space vortex background. Seen on a TV spot.


Jack Frost (1998): Just like the movie version, except the cloud background is blue.


The Matrix (1999): The sequence begins with the still image of the normal 1998 logo with the Time Warner Entertainment byline, only for it to promptly flash and bring forth the 1984 logo with Time Warner Entertainment byline in silver, all against a warbly green mist background. The shield then glitches like a disrupted TV signal and another flash brings forth the Village Roadshow logo.


Pokémon: The Movie 2000 (1999, Japan): The logo is on a space background and flashes to bring the Nintendo logo. The shield and the Time Warner Entertainment byline are also from the 75 Years variant.

Another trailer has the 75 Years shield in space and is surrounded by light mist.


The Exorcist: Extended Director's Cut (2000): The 1984 logo is blood red and fades in and out devilishly.

On another trailer, the movie variant from The Matrix is in a pale tint.


Pokémon 3: The Movie (2000, Japan): Same as the previous Pokémon film, but uses the AOL Time Warner byline.


Red Planet (2000): The logo is tinted in asparagus.


Training Day (2001): The logo is put against a sunrise background, along with the Village Roadshow Pictures logo.


Rock Star (2001): To the sound of drumbeats, the logo only quickly appears and then quickly alternates with the Belair Entertainment logo a few times. The last time it appears, it quickly plays in reverse with a whooshing sound.


Swordfish (2001): The logo is seen on a ball-shaped mine, along with the Village Roadshow Pictures logo. Seen on the teaser trailer.


Osmosis Jones (2001): The trailer variants are very similar to the one used in the movie, except "An AOL Time Warner Company" is in a different font.

In the first trailer, the shield amoeba lacks the banner around it.

In the second trailer, the shield amoeba has the banner, but the background has sirens.


Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone (2001): On the teaser trailer, the logo shakes for a moment, and then starts decomposing as owls fly out of it and towards the screen.


Blood Work (2002): The 1999 logo with the AOL Time Warner byline is tinted in crimson-glory.


The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002): The shield is white and flying in space, with the "An AOL Time Warner Company" byline orbiting around it.


Femme Fatale (2002): The logo turns negative, looks bright, and is put upon an opening scene background.


Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002): The logo is put on an evening sky background.

On another trailer, it's the same as the movie itself, except that the AOL Time Warner byline is removed.


Scooby-Doo (2002): On the teaser trailer, the 75 Years logo is tinted in ultramarine blue and is underwater. The shield then turns into the moon.

On the first official trailer, the shield is ultramarine blue on a black background and is slowly engulfed by mist.


The Powerpuff Girls Movie (2002): The logo is in dark gray and put on a thunderstorm background. Also, the animation happens differently, and the shadow from the banner appears lower than normal. Found on one trailer.


Murder by Numbers (2002): The shield is tinted in bronze, along with the Castle Rock Entertainment logo.

On one trailer, the normal logo is seen on a black background.


Two Weeks Notice (2002): The 75 Years version of the shield is placed on a grainy red background. Only on the teaser trailer.


Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, USA): The teaser trailer, which played on prints of Men in Black II, had the shield turning into liquid metal and melting.


Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003): The shield is much more metallic, colored tan and in 3-D. Also, it is put on a blue/orange/dark teal aurora background. The shield turns clockwise and zooms in, and there is no byline. This variation was later used as the logo for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The international trailers have the logo in its 1984 design with the AOL Time Warner byline superimposed on a mechanical background.

On TV spots, Road Runner runs through the WB shield, causing it to spin fast briefly.


Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004): The logo shakes to the sound of one of Clifford's footsteps.


The Polar Express (2004): The trailer logo is exactly like the one from the film, but takes place on a snowy cloud background.


Ocean's Twelve (2004): The print logo appears on a black background, with the letters "W" and "B" in white, and the shield border and the banner in red.


A Cinderella Story (2004): The logo pans downward, as the background changes to some mountains. Instead of the TimeWarner byline, a byline reading "A TIME WARNER ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY" is used.


Alexander (2004): The logo is tinted in yellow-ochre.


Catwoman (2004): The logo is light gray and put upon a dark, cloudy background. The banner's shadow is similar to the variation in The Powerpuff Girls Movie.

On another trailer, the shield is in a different shape and moves differently. It is also put on a black background.


Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004): The logo is dark gray and put on a green aurora background.

On the teaser trailer, the logo is seen behind a fogged glass window.


Troy (2004): On the teaser trailer, the logo is tinted in sepia and is swimming underneath the water while the byline swims above.

On the theatrical trailer, the shield is metallic and put on a yellow cloud background.


The Phantom of the Opera (2004): The logo is mustard yellow and put on an artwork background.


The Whole Ten Yards (2004): The logo turns white, the byline is golden yellow and the background turns dark blue.


House of Wax (2005): The logo is sepia-toned, and the inside of the shield is brown, while the logo repeatedly flashes from different points.


Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005): The shield is tangerine and put on a chocolate swirl background.


Syriana (2005): The logo is in black and white and very bright.


Deep Sea 3D (2005): The IMAX 3D Warner Bros. logo is seen, but the background is a coral background with a group of fish swimming behind the shield.


A Sound of Thunder (2005): The shield is tinted in azure along with the sky with black clouds.

On the other trailer, the shield is put upon a sky background. The TimeWarner byline is also in a different font.


Corpse Bride (2005): The shield is a silver doorknob. The logo is bylineless.

On one TV spot, the 1984 logo is used.


V for Vendetta (2005): On the teaser trailer, the logo is tinted in scarlet. Also, the clouds are tinted in dark red, and there is no byline.

On the theatrical trailer, the logo is tinted in moth, with the sky tinted in dark red and the clouds tinted in dark gray.

On TV spots, the logo is superimposed on a storm background.


Batman Begins (2005): On the teaser trailer, the logo is metallic and put on a black background.

On one trailer, the logo is brown and put on a brown, cloudy sky. Also, bats deform the shield.

On another trailer, the logo is black and white and put on a black background.

On the DVD & Blu-ray Promo, the logo fades to


Son of the Mask (2005, Germany): Same as A Cinderella Story, but this time it is normal. Only seen on the German TV spot.


We Are Marshall (2006): The logo is transparent and put on a sky background, along with the Legendary Pictures logo.


Lady in the Water (2006): On the teaser trailer, the logo is lion-colored and placed on an evening sky background.


The Good German (2006): The logo is gray and put on a smokey background.


Happy Feet (2006): The logo is tinted cyan and it is snowing on the logo.


Firewall (2006): The logo is aquamarine-blue and put on a different background. The logo also looks a little smudgy. The TimeWarner byline is in a different font as well.


Poseidon (2006): The logo is white and in an underwater scenery. The light from the bottom of the shield places the banner's shadow above the banner.


ATL (2006): The logo is set on a white brick wall as graffiti.


Beerfest (2006): The logo is transparent and put on a background of beer, along with the Legendary Pictures logo.


Blood Diamond (2006): The logo is made out of stone and put on a black background. Also, there is no byline.


The Ant Bully (2006): The logo takes place in Lucas Nickle's neighborhood. Seen only on the international trailer.


TMNT (2007): The print logo is metallic with a shade of green and green smoke coming out from the top of it. The byline is absent.


Rails & Ties (2007): The logo is the same as Million Dollar Baby, but in black and white.


Fred Claus (2007): The shield is olive green and the letters are white with the inside in strawberry red and is on a snowflake.


Beowulf (2007): The logo is dark gray.


Michael Clayton (2007): The logo is a drawing on a piece of paper.


Ocean's Thirteen (2007): The print logo appears in black on a red background and uses the 2003-2004 byline.


The Invasion (2007): On the TV spot, the logo is camouflage green and static shocked. Also, the byline appears early.


August Rush (2007): The logo is put on a windy meadow background.


I Am Legend (2007): The logo is gray, shaped differently and put on a black background, along with the Village Roadshow Pictures logo. The banner shadow is lower than usual and appears to bend.


Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007): The logo is darker than usual. Also, it rewinds backwards into a whole different scene.


The Bucket List (2007): The logo opens like an elevator.


10,000 B.C. (2008): The logo is blue and put on a black background.


Body of Lies (2008): The logo is teal and set upon a grid.

Speed Racer (2008): On the first trailer, the logo is metallic and the inside of the shield is red. The logo starts spinning on a wheel.


Sex and the City (2008, Non-US version): The logo is tinted in fuchsia and put on a black background.


The Dark Knight (2008): On the teaser trailer and some other trailers, the logo is metallic and put on a black background. The banner shadow is lower than usual and bends to the left.

On another trailer, the logo comes out of blue smoke.


Slumdog Millionaire (2008): The logo is in a box along with the Fox Searchlight Pictures, Celador Films and Film4 logos. Only seen on some TV spots.


Under the Sea 3D (2009): The logo is in dark greyish-blue, and is underwater.


Watchmen (2009): The shield is tinted in liver with the inside in icterine and put on a stormy cloud background.

On the TV spots, the logo shares the scenery with the Paramount Pictures, Legendary Entertainment and DC Comics logos.


Terminator Salvation (2009, US version): The logo is in a black negative color and static shocked.


Trick 'R Treat (2009): This was on the trailer for Trick 'R Treat that was originally set to be released in 2007. Suddenly, the movie got delayed and pushed back to 2008, until it suddenly ended up on DVD in October 2009. The logo is in black and white with black smoke in front of it.

At the beginning of the same trailer, it's the same as the film itself.


Sherlock Holmes (2009): On the teaser trailer, the print logo is put upon a stone.

On the theatrical trailer, it is the same as the teaser trailer variant, but darker and put on a smokey background.


Where the Wild Things Are (2009): The logo is a crude drawing.

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the Village Roadshow Pictures and Legendary logos.


Whiteout (2009): It looks like the logo on current Harry Potter films, and it is snowing on the shield.


The Box (2009): On the TV spots, the logo is placed on a black background along with the other logos.


Ninja Assassin (2009): On the TV spot, the shield is fuzzy-wuzzy brown. This also includes Legendary Pictures, Dark Castle Entertainment, and Silver Pictures logos.


Centurion (2010, United Kingdom): Same as the movie itself.


Inception (2010): On the teaser trailer, the logo is gray and put on a black background. Also, the letters "W" and "B" form a cityscape.

On the theatrical trailer, it is the same as the teaser trailer variant, but it also includes the Legendary Pictures and Syncopy logos.


The Book of Eli (2010): On the teaser trailer, the shield is in stone and comes out from a dark tree.


On the theatrical trailers, it is exactly the same as the Batman Begins variant.


On the TV spots, the logo is still in black and white, but it is put on a black background along with the Alcon Entertainment and Silver Pictures logos.


Clash of the Titans (2010): On the teaser trailer, the shield is metallic and put upon a cloudy background.

On the theatrical trailers, the shield is still metallic, but in 3-D and put on a smokey gray background.


Sex and the City 2 (2010, Non-US version): The shield has a fashionable look, with the New Line Cinema, HBO, and Village Roadshow logos designed in the same way.


Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2010, 2011): Still the same dark style is used, only this time the logo has a slight blue tint. Seen on the sneak peek and the trailer.


The Losers (2010): The print logo is red with the letters "WB" in pale yellow and the company name in white on a black background. Also, some blood is scattered over the letters "WB".

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the other logos.


Cop Out (2010): The logo moves backwards, but instead of the usual Warner Bros. Studios backlot seen in the shield at the beginning, it is replaced with a city skyline.


Hubble and Hubble 3D (2010): The logo is in 3D, in open-matte and in the same style as the Beowulf logo variations and other Warner Bros. IMAX variations. The byline is also larger than usual. Also seen on the film.


Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010): The logo is in white stone and is on an evening sky background. It also moves differently.


Splice (2010): The logo is in light green and on a green DNA background.


Lottery Ticket (2010): The logo is metallic, with the inside of the shield in black and pulsates to the beat from the music, along with the Alcon Entertainment logo.

On TV spots, both logos are on lottery balls.


Jonah Hex (2010): The shield is made out of stone and burning, along with the Legendary Pictures, DC Comics, and Weed Road Pictures logos.

On the 1st TV spot, the logo is black and put upon a desert background.

On the 2nd TV spot, it's the same as in the trailers, but it's not burning. It is also put upon a black background.


Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (2010): On the second trailer and the TV spots, it is the same as in the movie, but it also includes the Village Roadshow Pictures logo.


The Town (2010): The shield is metallic and is silver, along with the Legendary Pictures logo.


Yogi Bear (2010): Same as the movie itself, but is sped up.


Sucker Punch (2011): Same as the film itself, but the shield and byline are in their normal colors. Only on the first teaser trailer shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2010.

On the second trailer, the logo is made of stone.


Unknown (2011): The shield is similar to that of Whiteout but underwater, along with the Dark Castle Entertainment logo.

On the TV spots, both logos are in a cyan-gray color.


Dolphin Tale (2011) and Dolphin Tale 2 (2014): The 3D logo is white and it is put underwater, along with the Alcon Entertainment logo. On the latter, it’s accompanied by the song “I Will Keep You Safe” by Mumford & Sons.


Contagion (2011): The logo is red and zooms toward the camera on a black background.


Red Riding Hood (2011): The logo is tinted in dark gray, and is hiding in dark gray clouds and facing upwards.


Green Lantern (2011): The logo is shrouded in darkness, and the shield's outline and letters are a very dark green, and green energy is flooding the inside and seeping out of the shield. The TimeWarner byline is in a lighter green color.


Happy Feet Two (2011): The shield looks a bit stretched horizontally, and turns as it zooms out. It is also snowing and the logo is tinted in azure.
  • On some trailers and TV spots, it is next to the Village Roadshow Pictures logo.

Horrible Bosses (2011): The print logo is blue on a white gradient background.


Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011): On the teaser trailer, the variant seen on the teaser trailer from the first film is reused.


A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (2011): Same as the movie itself.


New Year's Eve (2011): The logo is amber with a black outline and it has lightsparks.


The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Same as Happy Feet Two, but is grey and metallic and zooms out slowly on a dark, stormy background.

On the teaser trailer, the 1998 shield is tinted in navy blue and zooms in with dark blue smoke clouds blooming behind it.

On the fourth TV spot, the logo is silver in front of a dark blue stormy background.


Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012): Same as the movie itself.


Project X (2012): The 1998 logo has a slight greenish-brown tint and is on a black background.


The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012): On a black and red cloudy background are the Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, and MGM logos, which are in orange, have a bit of a blurry appearance and look to be made of stone.


Wrath of the Titans (2012): The logo is made of stone, is burning, and also flying towards the screen on a dark, stormy background.


Dark Shadows (2012): Same as Happy Feet Two, but is in gray and slowly zooming in through dark blue clouds.

On TV spots, it is the same as the trailer, but the logo is bluer and is placed next to the Village Roadshow logo.


Rock of Ages (2012): On the first trailer, the logo is plain yellow, and then changes its color to blue. This is seen on a black background.

On the second trailer, the print logo is cream with a purple glow behind it as it zooms in. The "A" and "Company" in the byline are also in a different font.


Argo (2012): The 1998 logo is dark gray, a bit faded, and on a piece of paper with faded typing.


The Impossible (2012, Spain): The background cross-fades to the tsunami water, and the shield, along with the byline, fades out.


Hong Kong Phooey and Marvin the Martian: Yule Be Sorry (both 2012, test footage): A recreated version of the 1998 Warner Bros. shield zooms in on the Looney Tunes red rings with a green center. The screen zooms up to the logo, the shield opens like a door, reveals the Alcon Entertainment logo, and there is no byline.

On Marvin the Martian: Yule Be Sorry, rather than fading in, it cuts straight to the logo. The red ring background is a bit wider and the logo is brighter than before.


Beautiful Creatures (2013): The 1998 logo is in a shade of blue, is on a black background, and there is a fireball in the background.


Jack the Giant Slayer (2013): The logo is made from a concrete-like substance.


Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016): The logo is made of steel upon a black background.

On the third TV spot for Man of Steel, the logo is beside the Legendary Pictures, DC Comics and Syncopy logos.


Pacific Rim (2013): On the official trailer, the shield is gold and rusted.

On one TV spot, it's the same as the first trailer, but with the Legendary logo beside it.

On one trailer, the logo is silver-blue and is put on a steel door. It rotates to reveal the Legendary Pictures logo.


We're the Millers (2013): On TV spots, the logo shares the screen with the New Line Cinema logo. Plus, it is saturated.


Getaway (2013): On one trailer, the logo is tinted dark brindle.

On another trailer, it's the same as the movie itself.


The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013): The logo is metallic gold and it is rusted. Also, it is on a black background.

On the teaser trailer, the WB, MGM, and New Line logos appear as wood.


The Great Gatsby (2013): Same as the movie itself, but everything, excluding the shield, is golden. Seen on the teaser.

On the trailers, it has more detailed textures.


The LEGO Movie (2014): The shield made out of stone appears on a dark blue background with a blue light on the far left and dust particles in the air. It then zooms back to reveal the Village Roadshow logo made out of stone on the same background. Found on the teaser.

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the Village Roadshow Pictures logo and is accompanied by the song “Feel This Moment” by Pitbull feat. Christina Aguilera.

On the trailers, it's the same as the movie itself, but it doesn’t flip to reveal the WAG shield.

On TV spots, the variant from the film is on a box beside the Village Roadshow Pictures variant from said film.


300: Rise of an Empire (2014): The shield, followed by the Legendary Pictures logo, is dark silver on a smoky background.


Winter's Tale (2014): The logo is golden, somewhat rusted, and is put on a black background. Its appearance looks similar to the Pacific Rim variant.

On one trailer, this logo is seen alongside the Village Roadshow Pictures variant and is superimposed on the film.


Edge of Tomorrow (2014): The shield is metallic, moves differently and is set on a blue DNA background.


Godzilla (2014): The logo is red and rusted, similar to the Pacific Rim variant upon a red smokey background, along with the Legendary Pictures logo.

On the TV spots, the logo is red again and is put on a red misty background alongside the Legendary Pictures logo.

On the first trailer, it’s exactly similar to its appearance in Gravity (2013), along with the Legendary Pictures logo.

On the first teaser trailer, the shield is in its print form, flickering in light gray, on a dark background. In front of the shield is the company name in a hand-written font.


Interstellar (2014): The logo is dark grey and put on a space background.


American Sniper (2014): The print logo is black and is on a white background.


Jupiter Ascending (2015): The logo is dark blue and is set in space, with a bright lens flare behind it. The "WB" and the inside of the shield have patterns on them.


Mad Max: Fury Road (2015): Same as the movie itself, only less detailed. The TimeWarner byline is in a different font as well.

The variant used in Magic Mike and Argo appears to open one trailer, dubbed the "Legacy Trailer" as it features clips from all four Mad Max films.


Magic Mike XXL (2015): Same as the film itself.


Entourage (2015): The logo is colored verdigris, static shocked, and appears over an ariel view of a city (also in verdigris).


Pan (2015): The logo is made of steel and is put on a starry background. A pair of clock hands are visible on the shield.


The Gallows (2015): Same as the film itself. Only on TV spots.


In the Heart of the Sea (2015): The logo is verdigris, metallic, and placed on an underwater background.


Friend Request (2016, Germany): The logo, with the exception of the gold parts of the shield and byline, is in black and white.


The Nice Guys (2016): The Saul Bass "Big W" logo is used, though this time the logo has a neon look and is set on a black background. The 'W' is orange, the outline of the logo is red, and the byline is pink and is in a curvy font.


The Legend of Tarzan (2016): The logo is a somewhat pink shade, and made out of stone and put on a black background.


Lights Out (2016): Same as the movie itself.


Suicide Squad (2016): Same as the movie itself, but with a different color palette.

  • On the TV spots, the logo is made out of gray-blue-purple stone, and is set on a multicolored cloudy background.

Storks (2016): Same as the movie itself. Seen on the second trailer.

  • On TV spots, the logo shares the screen with the Warner Animation Group logo.
  • On one TV spot, it's the same as the movie itself again, but it is brighter and baby Tulip is seen next to the logo.

The Accountant (2016): The logo is white and is placed on a black jigsaw puzzle, which breaks apart. Also seen on some TV spots.


Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016): On the announcement teaser, there is a white circular light form on a dark background; it then fades into a smaller one. Another light appears after that, which shoots out white beams with light-blue trails around the entire screen. They form the Warner Bros. Pictures logo, in gray, which zooms in, tilts underneath clockwise and fades to black. Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is heard whispering "Lumos Maxima" twice during this; the first time before the light circle shows up, and the second before the second light appears.

On the teaser, Comic-Con and final trailers, the logo (which is in dark gray and lacks its interior), teleports into view on a dark, cloudy background, creating blue smoke that fades away. It then zooms in while also slightly tilting to the right.


The LEGO Batman Movie (2017): The shield is on a black background with yellow smoke. The shield itself is black, the "WB" and "WARNER BROS. PICTURES" text as well as the byline are all yellow. The shield turns to reveal the Warner Animation Group logo.

On one trailer, in the byline, "A" and "Company" are smaller and in a different font.


Kong Skull Island (2017): The logo is golden, and is on a black background.

On one trailer, the logo is on a red film projector reel and is in black and white.


King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017): The logo is grayscale and is placed on a black background.


Unforgettable (2017): The logo is gray with some hues of red on the WB shield's inner sides, and is on dark background. Also, there is no byline. Only on the 3rd trailer.


Wonder Woman (2017): The logo is golden on a black background.


The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017): The shield is once again made out of Legos, as it's floating on the ocean. The shield and the byline background are gold, while the text is black, and inside the shield is red. The shield turns (including the byline background) to reveal the Warner Animation Group logo.


Blade Runner 2049 (2017, North America): The logo is red in front of a dark gradient background, along with the Alcon Entertainment and Columbia Pictures logos.


Justice League (2017): The bannerless print logo is white in front of flying debris on a black background.


Ocean's 8 (2018): The print logo is on a red background.


Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018): The shield and the text are on a glittery gold background, and the logo has a blue outline. Before the zoom in-to Robin, it spins to the DC Comics logo with the same color scheme as the WB shield. Robin was shown down below.


Crazy Rich Asians (2018): The print logo is beige on a light blue patterned background.


Smallfoot (2018): On the first trailer, the shield appears on a snowy background and the TimeWarner byline is dark blue.

On the second trailer, it's the same as in the first trailer, but the TimeWarner byline is replaced with the 2018 WarnerMedia byline.


Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018): On the teaser, the logo (which appears as it did in the first movie but is golden instead of gray) teleports out of nowhere on a dark, stormy background, with white smoke in front of it; the smoke disappears shortly after.

On the Comic-Con trailer, it's nearly the same as the teaser variant, but it is preceded by a white smoke trail moving to the left, before turning right and transforming into the logo. Additionally, the sky is dark blue and the TimeWarner byline has been replaced by the 2018 WarnerMedia byline.

On the final trailer, it's the same as the teaser variant, but the 2018 WarnerMedia byline is used instead of the TimeWarner byline.


Aquaman (2018): The logo is light blue, transparent, and on a blue sky background. This logo was done by Devastudios and can be seen on [their website].

On another trailer, the logo is underwater on a shallow patch of land next to an island. Again, this logo was done by Devastudios and can be seen on [their website].


The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (2019): Same as the first film, but in the byline, "A" and "Company" are smaller and in a different font. Only seen on the teaser trailer. On the rest of the trailers, it’s the same as the movie itself.


Shazam! (2019): The shield and WarnerMedia byline appear in red on a black background. This logo was done by Devastudios and can be seen on [their website].

On TV spots, this logo shares the screen with the NLC and DC Comics variants.


The Curse of La Llorona (2019): The WB logo is gray on a dark background, and is placed behind a screen with water dripping down. The New Line Cinema logo in the same style is seen next to it.


Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019): The WB shield, along with the Legendary and The Pokémon Company logos, appear in neon yellow and blue. The "MEDIA" portion of the WarnerMedia byline appears to be a green color.

On the second trailer, this, the Legendary Pictures logo, and The Pokémon Company logo are all neon yellow (having the same neon style from the first trailer) and are put on a wall.


Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019): The logo, in a cyan color, appears from a teal smoke background, with debris and sparks flying about. The banner appears to be wider than usual.


Shaft (2019): The logo is on a white background, zooming in slowly. The shield itself is white, the text on the banner, the inside of the shield and the 2018 WarnerMedia byline are deep orange, and the "WB" letters are a slightly lighter orange. The banner is wider than usual, just like the Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer variation.

On one trailer, the logo shares the same screen with the NLC logo, but appears before it.


Annabelle Comes Home (2019): The variant from The Conjuring is used, but the WarnerMedia byline replaces the TimeWarner byline.


The Kitchen (2019): The Saul Bass "Big W" logo, in a light green color, is on a black background. Below it is the WarnerMedia byline in its regular font.


The Goldfinch (2019): The logo is gray, and appears blurry on a paper background.


Doctor Sleep (2019): The logo is dark gray, with the inside of the shield and the banner in black and the "WB" in white, and is on a black background with some smoke coming from behind the shield.


Joker (2019): At the end of the trailer, the modified 1972 print logo is used.


Birds of Prey (and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020): The logo is in black and white with the exception of the gold parts and is surrounded by purple and cyan lights.

On the TV spots, the logo shares the screen with the DC Comics and Atlantis logos.

On another trailer, the bannerless print logo in white is shown on a dark background, and the lights from the first variant are seen. The logo is also grungy and "A" and "COMPANY" in the byline are set in a graffiti font.


Scoob! (2020): On the first trailer, the logo is superimposed over a beach background, with the camera zooming upward.

  • On the second trailer, the logo is enhanced once again (although the shield's appearance is reused from the Storks variant).

The Way Back (2020): The logo is silver against a black background.


An American Pickle (2020): The 2019 WB shield print logo (in the same colors as its regular appearance) is on a black background and the 2019 WarnerMedia byline is in white below.


Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020, International): The logo is a still picture, with the exception of the clouds in the background.


Tenet (2020): On the first teaser, the shield from the Godzilla: King of the Monsters variant is in black and white with "WARNER BROS. PICTURES" in black.

On one trailer, it's the same as in The Way Back trailer.

On another trailer, it is the 2019 "Dimensional" print logo in gray, with "WARNER BROS. PICTURES" and the 2019 WarnerMedia byline below.


Wonder Woman 1984 (2020): On the first trailer, the 1998 shield and 2018 WarnerMedia byline are outlined in pink neon lights on a black background.

On the second trailer, the 2019 logo is white on a multicolored background and gets static shocked.


Judas and the Black Messiah (2021): The print logo is on a dark granite background, sharing the screen with the MACRO Media logo. Both logos slide to the right slightly (with the WB shield aligning with the 2018 WarnerMedia byline), and some specks are seen floating the background. More specks appear after the logos stop moving.

Tom & Jerry (2021): The 1998 shield with the 2019 WarnerMedia byline is used, and on a different cloud background.


Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021, HBO Max): The 2021 logo is made out of grey stone and is put on a black background.


Godzilla vs. Kong (2021): Same as the movie itself, but the WarnerMedia byline fades in earlier.

On one trailer, the print logo is light gray and is put on a black background, with the Legendary Pictures logo next to it.


Mortal Kombat (2021): Same as the movie itself.


Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021): The print logo, in white, is superimposed on a hilly background.

Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021): The logo is neon tinted in the style of the movie's logo (blue and orange), as is the WAG logo that appears a second later. Seen on a 30-second spot for the film, as well as the second trailer released.


No Sudden Move (2021): The print logo is in red, with the WarnerMedia byline in yellow, and appears on a blue city background, where a car drives behind it. The shield has a yellow-colored outline around it.


The Suicide Squad (2021): On the first trailer, the logo is in yellow, with the inside in red and the "WB" and WarnerMedia byline in white. It slowly zooms out on a red background. Yellow duplicates come from behind the shield.

On the red band trailer, the print logo (in yellow) is on a black background with a flame, and slowly zooms in.

On the green band trailer, the print logo is in silver, and zooms out on a black background.

On the "Rain" trailer, the logo is black, with the inside of the shield in red, and appears on a yellow background. Like with the red band trailer variant, it slowly zooms in.


The Many Saints of Newark (2021): The print logo (in white) is on a black background. The "WB" inside the shield is bigger than usual.


Dune (2021): The logo is tinted in brown, is set in darkness, and sparkles with sand/spice/stars. This and the Legendary Pictures variant were done by Devastudios and can be seen on their website.


King Richard (2021): The print logo is white and is on a black background.


8-Bit Christmas (2021, HBO Max): The logo is in a white color (with the inside of the shield being red) and is on a black background with 8-bit snowflakes falling in the background. It also glows.


The Matrix: Resurrections (2021): Same as the movie itself.


Kimi (2022, HBO Max): The logo cross-fades into the New Line Cinema logo.


The Batman (2022): Same as the movie itself, but the shield is larger and instead of having a gradient, it glows.


Moonshot (2022, HBO Max): The print logo is colored in silver-blue, and appears on a nighttime background, where it glows as it slowly zooms out. Also, a trademark symbol can be seen underneath the shield.


Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022): The logo is made of stone, with white dust forming the shield and byline, and zooms in on a cloud background.


Elvis (2022): In the first trailer, the shield and byline are in gold on a black background with lines inside the shield. Like the normal logo, this was done by Devastudios and can be seen on their website.

  • On the second trailer, it's the same as the film itself, but without the Warner Bros. Discovery byline.
  • On one TV spot and in the final trailer, it's the same as the movie itself again, but the Warner Bros. Discovery byline (in gold) fades in earlier.

DC League of Super-Pets (2022): The WB and WAG shields are in red and blue on a black background with the byline in white.

  • On another trailer, it is bylineless.
  • On a TV spot, the WB and WAG shields appear next to each other alongside the DC logo, and both shields have the Warner Bros. Discovery byline underneath them.

Don't Worry Darling (2022): The print logo is tinted in white/sepia, is on a black background with a blurred light behind it, and flashes in and out.

  • On the first trailer, it is bylineless, and the border around the shield is thinner.
  • On one TV spot, the print logo is seen on a black background next to the New Line Cinema variant.

Karada Sagashi (2022, Japan): The logo (with the official Warner Bros. Discovery byline) is in black and white.


Black Adam (2022): The logo is made out of metal, slowly zooms in, and is put on a black background with an orange light below it. This is also the first time that the Warner Bros. Discovery byline is used.

  • On a TV spot, the trailer variant of this logo is seen next to the New Line Cinema and DC Comics variants, slowly zooming in.

A Christmas Story Christmas (2022, HBO Max): Same as the film itself, but the logo is already formed and zooms toward the camera.


Holiday Harmony, A Christmas Mystery, and A Hollywood Christmas (all 2022, HBO Max): The normal version of the Warner Bros. Pictures logo has a red ribbon on the shield which comes off as it quickly zooms out. Also, the logo is put on a simple background with snow falling.


House Party (2023): The print logo is in a yellow color and is put on a dark gradient background. It zooms in slowly.


Magic Mike's Last Dance (2023): The logo is metallic and is placed on a black background with shiny circles underneath.


Mummies (2023, Spain): The shield is wrapped with linen on a white background, which is revealed by Croc from the film. The Warner Bros. Discovery byline (which is far bigger than usual) appears below in dark gray. This is the first time where the back of the WB shield is shown; it is basically the same as the front of the shield, but the "WB" is absent.


Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023):

  • On the first trailer, the print logo is dark red, in 3D, and zooms in slowly on a glowing orange background.
  • On the second trailer, it's the same as the film itself, but as the shield breaks up, the WBD byline is in white and doesn't fade out; instead, it stays intact, just like the 2011 WB/NLC logo.
  • On the Super Bowl spot, the print logo is dark red again, and is put aside the New Line Cinema and DC Comics variations on a background similar to that of the background in the first trailer's variant.

Evil Dead Rise (2023):

  • The print logo and byline are red on a black background that has blood red cracks on it.
  • On the international trailer, the shield starts upside down and it spins clockwise until it is right side up. The UK prints remove this variant and instead use the StudioCanal logo.
  • On the final trailer, the cracks in the background are shown emerging from the darkness. The logo moves up to make way for the New Line Cinema variant.

Strange Way of Life (2023):

  • The print logo is beside the Pathé print logo on a black background. Also, a trademark symbol is added and the Warner Bros. Discovery byline is larger.

The Flash (2023):

  • Same as the movie itself.

Barbie (2023):

  • There is the normal Warner Bros. Pictures logo on a black background, but its interior is colored pink instead of the usual blue. The interior then turns transparent and the camera goes through the shield, segueing into the trailer.
  • On the main trailer, the logo is seen spinning and very slowly shrinking on a spinning background with people going around, and is bylineless. Just like the previous trailer, the shield's interior is pink instead of blue.
  • On another trailer, it's the same as the film itself.

Meg 2: The Trench (2023):

  • The shield and byline are metallic and put underwater.
  • On the sneak peek for the movie, it shares the screen with the CMC Pictures logo.

Blue Beetle (2023):

  • The 2022 WB shield (the secondary logo) is lit up in neon blue and has Scarab technology seen in its inner sides on a dark background.

The Nun II (2023)

  • Just the finished product of the film's unused custom variation.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023):

  • The logo is carved into an iceberg on an ocean. Strangely enough, the shield uses its 1993 design (without the banner), despite the 2019 shield being used as the company's primary logo.
  • On the second trailer, an updated version of the opening variant from the first Aquaman film is used. Here, the logo's positioned at a slightly different angle, the WarnerMedia byline has been replaced by the WBD byline (reflecting Warner Bros.' current parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery), and some vegetation has been added to the logo. A school of fish can be seen swimming next to the shield.

The Color Purple (2023):

  • The print logo and byline are in a purple gradient against a black background with a slight glow.

Wonka (2023):

  • The 2019 shield is in gold and zooms out on a chocolate-colored background.
  • On the second trailer, the logo shares the same scenery with the Village Roadshow Pictures logo, but is bylineless.

Mallari (2023, Philippines): The 2021 logo's shield is replaced by the WBD shield, except with a banner and the sky is slightly modified. This logo marks the first time since 1998 that the shield has the banner. Additionally, the logo is in 4:3 and uses an old film effect.


Dune: Part Two (2024):

  • Similar to the previous film's trailer variant, but the 2022 WB shield (the secondary logo) and WBD byline are used instead, the sand/spice/stars are absent, and the background features a brown light.
  • On the second trailer, it's the same variant, but the logo shares the screen with the Legendary Pictures logo.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024):

  • The Mad Max: Fury Road variant of the 1998 logo is used, but the Warner Bros. Discovery byline replaces the TimeWarner byline.

Horizon: An American Saga (2024):

  • The 2019 print logo is light gray with a texture and has a slight shadow behind it. It's superimposed over a view of a canyon, and appears bylineless.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' (2024):

  • The 2019 shield which lacks its interior and WBD byline are upon a blue/purple space background.
