Background
This is the vanity card of Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi. It is named after the town that their series The Adventures of Pete and Pete takes place in.
1st Logo (October 1, 1995-September 24, 2000)
Logo: On a plain white or papery background, we see a varying clip of "community life" inside of a white border, with a shadow, at the top center of the screen, making it look like a Polaroid photo. Below that is the text "WELLSVILLE pictures", the color of which depends on the clip shown, with "Wellsville" being bigger and standing above "pictures", which is spaced out. An IAW byline is seen below.
Variants: There are 4 variants:
- A young child, with only feet visible on a concrete ground, projecting a shadow of himself stretching his arms out; olive green text (episodes 1, 3, 6, 7, 10, 13).
- An active yellow sprinkler on a lawn; periwinkle text (episodes 2, 4, 8, 12).
- Silhouettes of three transformer towers, along with community powerlines, underneath a blue sky; black text (episode 5).
- A teal bicycle rolling down a backyard shown from the POV of the front wheel; dark green text (episodes 9, 11).
Trivia: The sprinkler footage is also seen at the beginning of the Season 3 Pete & Pete episode "35 Hours".
FX/SFX: The clip inside the box.
Music/Sounds: Plays over the ending theme.
Availability: Possibly extinct. Appeared on season 3 of The Adventures of Pete and Pete, which was last seen on The N (now TeenNick) in 2003 and is unavailable on DVD unlike the other two seasons. It was also seen on The War Next Door.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (November 28, 2017- )
Logo: On a (presumably) denim background, we see a green patch with a white outline that has a stylized picture of a yellow lightbulb. Above it is the curved text "WELLSVILLE".
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: None or the end theme of the show.
Availability: Common. Seen on the television specials Click, Clack, Moo: Christmas at the Farm and Costume Quest, as well as the television adaptations of Harriet the Spy and El Deafo.
Editor's Note: None.
