Background

After Marcy Carsey left The Carsey-Werner Company in 2005, Tom Werner was joined by Eric L. Gold, and Jimmy Miller, and the company was reorganized as Werner/Gold/Miller with a deal at Warner Bros. Television. After Gold and Miller left in 2007, it was renamed to Werner Entertainment.

1st Logo (May 2, 2006)

Visuals: Essentially just the letters "WGM" with the text "WERNER • GOLD • MILLER" on a black background.

Technique: A still digital graphic.

Audio: The first three guitar notes from "Start Me Up" by The Rolling Stones.

Availability: Seen on the director's cut of the Twenty Good Years pilot.

2nd Logo (September 7, 2006-January 31, 2007)

Visuals: On a brown background, the letters "WGM" flip in letter-by-letter. Then, they zoom in as the text "Werner • Gold • Miller" fades in below. All of the text is in a Garamond font.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A guitar riff, which actually came from Twenty Good Years' music cues. Composed by Steve Hampton and John Adair. Sometimes, the generic network theme is played on original airings, or none.

Availability: Seen on the short-lived sitcoms Twenty Good Years and Happy Hour. Also seen on the failed pilot of Playing Chicken.
