Background
White Star was a short-lived division of Kultur focused on special interest titles.
Logo (1990s)
Visuals: On a black background, a rainbow line consisting of blue, green, red and yellow spins towards the screen and stops in the middle in a horizontal position. As it stops, the words "WHITE" and "STAR" both wipe in from the left and right side respectively. After a moment, a white star zooms out and rests between the words.
Variant: At the end of tapes, the logo is seen on a blue gradient background with an address and phone numbers:
195 Highway 36
West Long Branch, NJ 07764

Technique: Analog computer animation.
Audio: An Super NES-like synth piano tune with jingles, with the last note sustained after the star appears.
Availability: Seen on videos from the company, such as Path to Stardom: Tim McGraw and John Cleese on How to Irritate People.
Legacy: The animation isn't anything to write home about, but it has a neat theme.
