Background
Wide Games was an American video game developer founded in 2002. They collaborated with Codemasters to make their only game, Prisoner of War.
Logo (September 27, 2002)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a blue orb surrounded by black, smaller orbs moving at a fast pace. Then, the orbs slow down and become blue. Then, they stop next to each other. After that, the word ":games" comes from the side in a fast pace. Then, the orbs briefly become a little bit bigger to turn into blue circles with the letters "W" "I" "D" and "E", forming the text as "WIDE". Finally, the "s" shines for a second.
Technique: CGI animation.
Audio: A space-like tune when the orbs move, some click-like sounds when the orbs morph, and a modern-age twinkle for the shine.
Availability: Seen the company's only game from the time period, Prisoner of War.
