Background
Working Dog is an Australian comedy production company that has worked in both film and television. It has worked on successful TV shows such as FrontLine, The Panel and Thank God You're Here. It also has three theatrical productions including the iconic Austrailan movie The Castle. Working Dog doesn't use a logo for their productions but do have a logo on DVDs, which are distributed by Roadshow Entertainment.
Logo (February 18, 1998-)
Visuals: On a white background, there is an Australian cattle dog with a shadow below and the text "WORKING DOG" underneath. The dog pants and barks once.
Variants:
- A variant used for films produced by the company exists. A gray spotlight fades on a black background and reveals the dog, while the text in a golden texture blurs in and get closer.
- On the US version of Thank God You're Here, the dog is still on a white background.
Technique: Live-action. The movie version uses also CGI.
Audio: The dog panting then barking.
Availability: Seen on shows produced by Working Dog productions such as The Panel and Thank God You're Here. It also appears after the Roadshow logo on DVDs of Working Dog's films, beginning with The Dish.
