Background

Yerevan Studio (Armenian: Երեվան) is a studio of feature and documentary television films in Yerevan. It shoots feature films. It also digitizes Armenian films of the Soviet period.

1st Logo (November 19, 1975)

2nd Logo (1975-1983)

Visuals: We see the eagle. Then the camera moves away and we see the text in Armenian (the lettersո and ւ are shown as a ligature for representing sound [u]):

3rd Logo (2007-)

Visuals: We see the lion walking and roaring like Leo the Lion of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Then the lion reaches up and a staff and crown appear. Text in Armenian under the lion appears: Ե Ր Ե Վ Ա Ն Ս Տ Ո Ւ Դ Ի Ա

Technique: 3D animation by Triada Studio.

Audio: Some music with the MGM Leo The Lion roar.

Availability: Seen on films produced by Yerevan Studio.
