Background

ZAG Entertainment, also known as Zagtoon, ZAG Animation Studios, ZAG Heroez or simply ZAG, is a production/animation company founded in 2009 by Jeremy Zag. It is best known for creating and producing Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, and the franchise it has spawned.

Visuals: On a black background, a light shines on a metal object, revealing the ZAG logo (the word "ZAG" in a Trajan font over a curved line) as it rotates from the left and zooms out and settles in the top center. The word "HEROEZ", likewise metallic, comes from the right side of the screen, spinning about and settling below. The "Z" in "HEROEZ" is in blue, but slanted. Two objects slide from both sides of the screen, making it a rectangle, which briefly flashes as it forms. The logo shines a bit.

Variants:

• An in-credit version of this logo exists.
• On a newly opening variant of the logo, there is a clip from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, where it starts off with Marinette saying her famous line, then the screen crossfades to the shot of her perfect transformation followed by the part where Ladybug does her "lucky charm" tricks, but among other clips (including a shot of Hawk Moth). Other clips from Power Players (where Axel begins to transform) and Zak Storm (even when the titular character became famous) are followed with the rest of them, as well as a shot of Austin & Ally actress/singer Laura Marano performing a long version of the theme song in the Miraculous music video. It also cuts to a shot of Alya, who gets anxious. The last two clips include shots of Ladybug and Cat Noir's heroic forms, then ends up with the ZAG Heroez logo afterwards.

Audio Variants:

• On the opening variant, sound effects corresponding to the animation as Marinette (voiced by Cristina Vee) does her famous line, "Tikki, spots on! Ha!". After that, a "remastered" version of the orchestral brass fanfare adapted from the overture of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (also used in both the 1991 Morgan Creek and 2007 Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment logos), composed by Michael Kamen, plays throughout the clips as well.
• Sometimes, there is a short version of the ending fanfare (as heard in the 2008 WDSHE logo, but similar to the Morgan Creek's 2nd one) being edited and fitting the width of the sequence, and thus a cymbal crash is heard as it flashes before shining at the end.

Availability: Seen on shows such as Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, Power Players and Zak Storm under the ZAG Heroez label. The in-credit version also exists on said shows, as well as Ghostforce and all the Miraculous World specials.
