Background

1428 Films is Daniel Farrands' production company. The name of the company is based on 1428 Elm Street, the address of slasher antagonist Freddy Krueger; the first film Farrands directed was Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy.

Logo (August 16, 2021-)

Visuals: The camera zooms into a CG rendering of Freddy Krueger's house, the front door opening displaying a bright light. A dirty smear filter persists throughout the logo. Inside the house a series of hands emerge from a portrait on the wall, before the camera zooms back. The text "1428 films" moves toward the center of the screen and shines.

Technique: 3D animation.

Audio: A horror synth stinger, along with crumbling noises and a child giggling (the latter of which is likely a stock sound effect.)

Availability: Appeared on Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman and Aileen Wuornos.
