Background
In Australia, 20th Century Home Entertainment used these bumpers at the end of VHS releases to remind the viewer to rewind their cassette.
1st Bumper (1983-1995)
Visuals: It's essentially just either the second or third CBS/Fox Video logos, the first Fox Video logo, the Medusa Communications logo or the Screen Time Entertainment logos, but usually with a freeze-frame at the end.
Technique: Computer effects, Scanimate and/or CGI.
Audio: The music of whatever logo is shown. After it, a male voiceover, Don Rainsford from Channel 7, says "Please rewind this cassette before returning it to your video library."
Audio Variants:
- From 1983-1984, a different male announcer says "Don't forget to rewind this tape before returning it to your video library."
- From 1991 until mid-1992, only the voiceover is heard on the Fox Video variant.
- On some CBS/Fox Video releases, Chelsea Brown asks "Could you please rewind your cassette before returning it to your video library?"
- On the 1991 "Uncut Version" VHS of Marked for Death, the full fanfare plays, minus the opening drumbeats, after which Rainsford's voiceover is heard.
Availability:
- The 1983 version appears at the end of early CBS/Fox Video releases in Australia, such as the 1984 releases of The Star Chamber and The Empire Strikes Back.
- The post-1984 versions are seen at the end of most CBS/Fox Video and Fox Video titles in Australia, plus titles from labels Medusa Communications and Screen Time Entertainment.
2nd Bumper (1995-2005)
Visuals: A black-blue gradient background fades in, with the following text (in a Times New Roman font) over it:

Variant: Starting in 1999, The same text appears on a black background, this time in a Helvetica font.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: Rainsford's voiceover from the previous bumper.
