Background

A-list was a Malaysian movie television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite provider. It was launched on October 1, 2013, and was available on channel 456, prior to its closure at midnight of August 2, 2019 due to low viewership.

ID (October 1, 2013-August 2, 2019)

Visuals: A black line in a marker-like fashion is shown drawing towards the top right of the screen on a pink paper sheet background. The scene then cuts to show an arc made up of two lines being drawn, with a horizontal line drawing in through it, forming an "A", as a movie camera finishes drawing in above the letter. The screen zooms out to show a dash and "list" drawing in next to the "A", forming the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A romantic orchestral soundtrack played with strings, which finishes with a sustained note that reverbs out.
