Featured Media Nominations

Featured media are images and videos determined by the community to be significant, rare or otherwise interesting logo finds. These aren't your ordinary film, television or home video logos. Featured images appear in the gallery on the main page. On this page users can nominate images to be featured and vote on candidates to receive this distinction.

How to use this page:
Click "Nominate", fill out the fields and submit your nomination. Users will then be able to vote in support or opposition to the image being featured. if an image or video recieves at least a support:oppose ratio of 2:1 (two thirds majority), it passes and the proper template is added by a bureaucrat.

We discourage submitting logos solely based on its visuals. All media need to be significant to the community in terms of obscurity.

Please remain civil while using this page. Per site rules and the policy, please refrain from personal attacks when discussing these images and assume good faith.

Reason: This unique take of the Turner Pictures/Feature Animation logo could only be seen on the Cats Don't Dance (1997) Wrap Tape, which was only meant for specific groups or most of the team working on the aforementioned film. TechBlitz (talk) 08:25, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

Rare Aussie Touchstone

Reason: Been a while since I uploaded something in here, but here you go: a rare variant of the first Touchstone Home Video logo. Yes, somehow this existed long enough to get itself a variant. Reason: The short promo of the News at Ten features Kaity Tong, Jack Cafferty, Sal Marchiano and Mr. G, Bob Tracey provides the voiceover, the music of the short promo is the 1997 version of WPIX Custom News Package by Non-Stop Music, this promo was shown during a December 31, 1997 commercial break of The Honeymooners on the WB11 (now PIX11) which can be seen here. Reason: To shamelessly copy-paste the summary: here's something rare! We've known of this logo elsewhere, but this is an on-screen appearance. It appeared on a Vimeo upload of a Jim Henson documentary with only around 6 views. Its title is full of underscores, so I cannot actually ID its real title, but I believe it may be called Jim Henson: In His Own Words (NOT to be confused with the PBS documentary). Regie Cassette Video (1970)

Reason: The differences between the other are that the texts are entirely yellow (or white?), other than that, the TV tube is outlined and is drawn in, and the color flowing is simply now color crossfading. From a French VHS of Nous n'irons plus au bois (1970). (таʟк) 10:21, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
