"AVID Remembers" subpage
I find it disrespectful that you got rid of the CLG Wiki's dedication subpage. Bring it back, but under the new name.

Support I don't know why it was removed in the first place.(name change coming soon) 13:07, 9 December 2022 (UTC)- Support What was the point of removing it? Because of CLG Wiki? No way! (• USER TALK! •) 14:15, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Oppose
- Oppose Why?? It has absolutely nothing to do with the wiki's purpose. It's a nice gesture and all but it doesn't belong here. NancerAVID 17:43, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose This is one of the very few things I agree with the old BoD on. This and Anniversaries were filler that was ultimately irrelevant to our site and it’s contents, and now that we’ve added more navigation options and other sections such as Featured Images and the Recent Changes feed, such filler is no longer necessary given our homepage now has much more relevant content and functionality than when these sections were originally in use. - Oppose As stated by the others, it became un-needed on the homepage of the Wiki. Instead, we have a memorial section dedicated to remembering those who have passed on in our Discord server. This is a much more fitting place for it, in my opinion. Luke2505 (talk) 01:53, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose I never saw a need for that section even when we were CLG wiki. It's not needed in a place that's meant to be mainly about logos. IAmThe789Guy (talk) 02:22, 10 December 2022 (UTC) IAmThe789Guy
- Oppose While it may be disrespectful, there isn't that much of a point to this section, neither the anniversary pages, considering this is a wiki about logos. There would not be a lot of people who would visit this site to mourn the deaths of individuals or celebrate the 5th anniversary of a TV show. Camenati (talk) 02:26, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose As per everyone else. · Talk · Edits 04:04, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

- Oppose It was filler that wasted a lot of peoples time. --Shakla (talk) 03:40, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose although i understand why you say this, we already have a channel for it on the discord server. tmsl (talk) 23:50, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose Yes, it may have been a nice gesture, but a memorial spot for recent deaths... just doesn't seem fitting for a logo wiki, does it? --CooleyBoy10 (talk) 17:07, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose Everyone else on the oppose side has made fair arguments. The #entertainment-memorial channel on Discord is a better place for it. I've changed my mind. (name change coming soon) 01:03, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose This is the most Shadeed-ish thing i've ever seen, PERIOD. EvelynFriedrich (talk) 02:39, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- No clear, or likely good rationale for bringing it back. --Blad (talk • contribs • global) 21:49, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose: With all due respect, a memorial is beyond the scope of the AVID wiki, and an alternative option has been provided on Discord. --Pingu (talk) 13:21, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
