Franchise bumpers, should we have them or not?

Increasingly, media franchises are creating their own opening logos/bumpers that show up at the start of their shows, etc. For example, Star Wars, Star Trek , and most recently Doctor Who's Whoniverse. I have believed for some time that we should have them here. Heck, one of the times I got on the wrong side of the old BoD was when I tried to make a page for the Star Trek one initially. Even as we became AVID and changed our approach, I've been holding off on reopening this issue, but now that we are comfortable in our expanded scope and more franchises are doing this, I feel it's time to come back and take a fresh look at this.

  1.  Comment: To be honest, this is a bizarre idea, as for me this could cause countless reasons, such as suffering copyright problems. AVID is a logos, IDs and Bumpers documentation wiki, not a Franchise Logos/Bumpers documentation wiki, this seems like something a random Fandom wiki would do. Well, it is called the Audiovisual Identity Database for a reason. The concept's rather similar to some types of logos we document, so it's not really a bizarre idea. And, as Trevor pointed out, we likely won't suffer "copyright problems", as our captures are under the Fair Use license. Doctorine Dark (talk) 11:42, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
    • "suffering copyright problems"
Respectfully, by that logic, so would every logo we have.
EDIT: Franchise logos and bumpers do fall under the "logos" and "bumpers" categories you cited. · Talk · Edits 02:30, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
