Remove subjective/opinionated terms in Technique
I've seen many instances of Technique still use subjective/opinionated terms like "simple", "basic", "advanced", "70s/80s/90s", "for the time", among others. Given they're against the more formal tone we're going for, I'd like to propose removing all subjective terms from Technique entirely. · Talk · Edits 13:28, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

- Support This wiki is built upon factual knowledge, and the only one here that can be considered factual is the decade-based one, but even that is just redundant due to the section header having the lifespan. I'm all for removing such statements. EMG/Roxie (She/They) (Let's Chat!) 13:30, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support I have to support this. I hate opinionated terms used in articles for a number of reasons, so here's a support. | (lets play football) 13:36, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

- Support I will admit I have fell victim to this for a while. But thinking this through, I've realized that these terms, such as the ones described above, are merely defined by the editor based on how impressed they are by the animation. If it don't impress you, say "basic." If it do, say "advanced." This is a blatant contradiction against our professional philosophy we apply into writing these descriptions. We should have been on the lookout for these terms a while ago with the other POV proposal, let's make sure they get converted to statements that have factual basis. - Support This wiki here is looking for information, not for people's biased opinions on what they think (in simpler words, good thing that this is being removed since there are way too many of these terms now, although I have fallen victim to this a few times now). - Support Maybe allowed if the logo was intended to created under those terms as stated in a reliable source, but I will accept this. Opinions are not what wikis want anyway. Rainbow Puppy (talk) 20:50, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
