What do we do about Jeff?

With DanteWilliams being banned, there's been an ongoing debate about what to donwith the Frog Mascot, Jeff. Much of the wiki and Discord server seems to be in favour of removing him, and as such, Inam making these three proposals. (Lets chat!) 23:17, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

1. Remove Jeff entirely

Completely remove Jeff as a mascot.

  1. Support We're pretty fine with Ace and Vivi, because they're a better representation of AVID (Ace) and the old CLG (Vivi). Two mascots should be enough imo. IAmThe789Guy (talk) 23:19, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
  2. Support Ace and Vivi work well as a duo. One represents AVID, the other was based around the old CLG branding. A classic duo. · Talk · Edits 23:20, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
  3. Support Haven't understood why people suddenly supported Jeff as a mascot and then turned their back against him. Camenati (talk) 23:30, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Because he never fit the wiki as much as Ace and Vivi do. He's just a plain frog. IAmThe789Guy (talk) 23:32, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Let's just say we kinda went overboard on the ironic support. After Dante was blocked, we started looking at Jeff more objectively. · Talk · Edits 23:32, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

2. Replace Jeff with a new mascot

Create a new mascot to replace Jeff. Please do NOT place any proposed mascots here, they should be saved until after the rfc is closed.

  1. Support Just because he's not a logo doesn't mean we can't have him around. Sonicfan19198282
We no longer do any variants of "Support" or "Oppose", for the record. It's per a recent RfC. · Talk · Edits 23:33, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
