Since I joined the old CLG wiki site on Dec 18 2016, I have done at least 122 on my old account to my new one at the miraheze site. As a fan of logos, I always wanted to help grow the site. I have decided to apply for the first time after only being a writer for so long on the wikifoundry site and been friends with admins on the site in the past as now its on a new site and some admins aren't returning to the site. I have also completed most of the requirements during my time on the CLG wiki other than the 1000+ edits as pointed out before. I hope I can grow the site with my logo knowledge and helpfulness with the community.

I have proven myself to be a good moderator over the two years I was one on Wikifoundry. I have good judgement on who's following the rules, who isn't, who to ban, etc. I have helped multiple people with their problems on the old site, as I knew how the site worked and had a good grip on the rules, and am gradually getting to know the ins and outs of this site. I have amassed 5,000+ contributions on Wikifoundry and despite not constantly making page edits like some people I still visit this site at least twice a day to see if everything is okay. For all these reasons, I think I will make a great administrator.

I have been involved in this community for nearly five years now and amassed over 2000 contributions across the old and new sites. I now feel I'm ready to take that next step. I have a firm grasp of the rules and have not been caught in any controversy through my whole time on the site. I am currently an admin over on the new company bumpers site where I've already dealt with a troll (and their sockpuppet) and cleaned up their spam pages. I also feel I offer a level of experience with MediaWiki, having also been an editor at Wikipedia for about a year before we moved here and having developed that understanding further as I've been editing here.

I was a moderator at the old CLG wiki as CokeFan12 and I've already made over 1000 contributions there. As a moderator I have banned vandals and sockpuppets and I have good knowledge of the rules. I left due to a loss of interest in logos. Although I rejoined WF briefly under my current username I barely did anything with it. But now that CLG is moving to a (better) host, I feel like I want to help develop this site further and be more active. Since this migration began I've already transferred many pages here, reported vandals and undid vandalism. I also have good knowledge of MediaWiki since I've been editing Wikipedia for around 3 years now.

I had over 4,000 contributions on the old CLG Wiki and uploaded scores of logo-related videos to my YouTube channel. For a brief time in 2016, I was an administrator, but it was determined that I was unable to handle the responsibilities properly (I agree that I was not ready). Since then, I have felt that I have matured and have improved my life.

User was promoted on Company Bumpers in the last couple of months. They're doing a good job so far dealing with sockpuppets and cleaning up their mess. They've also done some good work in the MediaWiki namespace with some of the interface messages to the point that I've ported some of his additions over here. I won't support or oppose. And here's my reasoning. It has nothing to do with the user. Seems like a good guy. But right now, am planning a bit of an overhaul of CLG administrators. Just plan to cut out ones who aren't really cutting it anymore. So I will ask to hold off on any promotions until further notice, so we can get everything straightened out. Ever since I joined the wiki over a year ago, I’ve been helping out with documenting logos from foreign countries and have also helped out with reporting and otherwise alerting the administrators to sockpuppets and other troublesome users, reformatting pages that have been untouched since the move to Miraheze, correcting incorrect use of the FX/SFX sections and, whenever possible, readding captures from the old wiki to their respective pages. I have also amassed over the 1,000 edits needed and have a good grasp on the rules and policies of the wiki.

I mainly want to become an administrator to help combat any sockpuppet and other troublesome accounts that are created during the Eastern Time hours (giving them an even lesser window to screw around before being inevitably blocked) and to further assist with the quality control on here, particularly with image captures.

  • Definitely a strong candidate for admin. HC has been instrumental in alerting myself and the other admins to a number of vandals and sockpuppets. They've also been in involved in alerting the stewards to LTA accounts in need of Global Locking. I'd be more than happy to work with them as an admin. Talk · Edits 23:30, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

I would love to become an adminstrator since I have edited on the wiki for a full year now and have passed around 5000+ edits in that time. I’ve also been helping out with documenting a heap of vanity plates (especially with ones on new shows that come out around the time) and also adding captures for video game logos from the old wiki.

Using his admin tools to demote multiple admins with no appropriate reasoning, suppressing the community-driven process of admin election by deleting this page, "discontinuing" the discord with no discussion or warning. Oh, and off-wiki transphobia as shown in these chats with the BOD and ENunn from a while back([1] [2] [3]) Note: "Lee" in these images is him. Plus he arbitrarily removed the pronoun roles in the discord which is why we kicked him off there some time ago. FYI, this was created on the advice of a steward. Let's not even MENTION the fact that this admin's a known transphobe, going behind our backs on the (now unaffiliated Discord server) and removing the pronoun roles entirely. If that isn't transphobic enough, there's also proof that he also harbors transphobic views and is willing to share them whenever possible.   • Support I’ve had a bad feeling about Matthew for the longest time after witnessing all the forced rule changes made with virtually zero communication with the wiki’s community outside of private discussions with the Board of Directors and practically forcing any users critical of said changes to remain silent, learning of his transphobic behavior on the Discord a while back and the whole debacle with a user being unfairly blocked by him over what’s believed to be an editing mistake on his part, but today has thoroughly cemented that Matthew should not be allowed to continue his reign. Not only did he abruptly pull user rights privileges from me, TheUsername21 and ENunn out of the blue and on incredibly thin grounds, but he attempted to censor any criticism directed at this change and his actions and even went so far as to delete the Requests for Adminship page (aka this very page) and try to protect it from recreation, and that’s not even going into how he went against Steward Agent Isai’s action of recreating the page by deleting it again and even demoted hb1290 for recreating it despite it going against a Steward action. I’ve been working on and dreaming of helping to make this wiki a much better and more welcoming place for everyone, and all Matthew’s actions have done is hinder that vision and instead create an environment that feels unwelcoming and hostile to other editors, which arguably goes against Miraheze’s Code of Conduct.   • Support I don't think transphobes should be running a wiki that has people from many diverse backgrounds. Additionally, changing wiki direction without notifying users only inspires a lack in confidence, which has developed thanks to the abuse of power.
