Vivi Celege
Vivi Celege is one of the Audiovisual Identity Database's mascots. She is created by Nancer.
Appearance
Vivi is a stickwoman figure with long black hair. Her hair has points at the edge with RGB streaks on them. Her hair is held up by an orange star-shaped bow (a nod to the star seen in the partial T.A.T. Communications Company footage). She wears a hoodie with a gray triangle on it that symbolizes the A in AVID. She also has RGB freckles.
History
Vivi debuted on the previous CLG Wiki Discord server on March 12, 2021, when Nancer uploaded her first drawing. Plasticity would later refine her original design. She was the first official AVID mascot conceptized, predating Ace Stounding. Although she wasn't pushed forward during the late CLG days, she had a resurgence near the end of September 2022 when users on the newly-formed AVID Discord server started showcasing mascot concepts based on the then-upcoming AVID rebrand. Though Vivi had a lot of support behind her, there was little movement towards her implementation until December 22, 2022, when Kris Valdespino, the creator of Ace, redrew her to sport AVID branding and conform with his art style at the time.
Her name was originally "Cecilia" (although the name "CLG-tan" was later adapted), sporting branding closer to the unused CLG Wiki rebrand. ZeroStar proposed names based on a comment about having mascots named after the AVID acronym, with Kris eventually using the "Ace" name for his mascot, and the "Vivi" name for Nancer's mascot. "Izzy" and "Dan" were also proposed, but were left unused.
For a while, even after Ace Stounding got his official last name, Vivi didn't officially have one. However, the community latched onto a last name, "Celege," based on the acronym of the original CLG brand. Eventually, despite Nancer's disapproval and suggesting "Kelly" as her last name (as a needless reference to Shadeed), Kris officially named her "Vivi Celege" on April 4, 2024.
