Question: Since it is not Wikifoundry, does that mean that anyone that signs up for a Miraheze account is considered a writer? --LogoFun13-YT (talk) 17:12, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

I think we should lock this page before we get some "monkey see, monkey do" vandalism...

Maybe it's just me, but still. --DisneyInternationalFan (talk) 18:00, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

I think that people that sign up for a Miraheze account on this wiki are writers. This is my proposed change: "When you sign up for a Miraheze account for this wiki, you have the permission to help out. If you abuse this, your account may be suspended."

... and replace every occurrence of Wikifoundry to Miraheze.

Also, I did some work on the page by adding a link.

--LogoFun13-YT (talk) 19:11, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

I was just about to request a rewrite of the first rule. Also, regarding the lock, I actually saw this coming. Gilby1385 (talk) 15:46, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

My observations on what needs to be updated here

Just going through the rules to see what needs fixing. From what I can see, rules 1, 18 and 37 need to be reworded for Miraheze. Rules 4B, 9, 28 and 40 need to be deleted entirely since they're no longer applicable on Miraheze, Rule 22 needs to be replaced completely since we don't have Writers and RUs here, the first part of rule 15 needs to be updated to link to Template:NSFW. Finally, rule 33 would benefit from a tweak to reference the Discord instead of profiles. EDIT: Rule 12 needs some serious work as well. Hb1290 (talk) 00:55, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Also we need to change every thing that says clg to avid because ok the name change G23M08 (talk) 21:20, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Exactly, Hb1290. I actually agree with you there. --LogoFun13-YT (talk) 17:15, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

New rule suggestion

We should probably have a rule against editing or moving other people's comments on talk pages, with exeptions for spam removal, cleanup (personal talk pages only), archiving and attributing unsigned posts with {{Unsigned|name}}. This is based on Wikipedia policy and quite frankly I think we need it here too. Hb1290 (talk) 01:24, 23 May 2020 (UTC)

Same here. --LogoFun13-YT (talk) 16:28, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

On Rule 2

I think we should add a mention to conditions (I'm talking about syndromes like Asperger's), as they're not really disabilities. --DisneyInternationalFan (talk) 03:49, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Done. Hb1290 (talk) 04:12, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Extension Information

For this part: "For example, during the Wikifoundry era, admin Wyraachur got into hot water for having an add-on that automatically changed words to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic-related terms (like "everybody" to "everypony" and "America" to "Amareica")." Do you have an archive of the page? I was thinking that a page in which it was affected can be used as an example. --LogoFun13-YT (talk) 13:59, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

No, but would you like me to tell you exactly what changed then? --DisneyInternationalFan (talk) 14:22, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

After: "Rare, at least in Amareica. Appears on syndicated reruns of The Benny Hill Show on Antenna TV. Another example here, this time on 20th Televison: http://www.closinglogos.com/page/20th+Television/diff/282,283 Hb1290 (talk) 14:45, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your help, you too. This helped me out on understanding the extension. --LogoFun13-YT (talk) 14:49, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Shortcuts

If you're wondering what the "shortcut" boxes cropping up around this page and elsewhere are, I am implementing shortcuts to key project pages and rules. This is based on the system in place at Wikipedia and allows us to quickly link and cite specific rules and other project pages. For example, CLG:PA will link to the Personal Attacks rule. Hb1290 (talk) 04:56, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

I think we should add a rule

I know that in the logo comunity we have fictional logos. So what if. we don't allow these fictional logos. So that we don't confuse real logos with fake ones probably? Not sure if you all whould agree You can talk about it in my "User Talk" page if you want [1]
