Background

Agencja Dystrybucji Filmowej was a Polish film distributor. its head was Andrzej Goleniewski.[1]

Logo (March 10, 1992-March 11, 1996)

Visuals: In a desert-like environment, a black square flies across the surface, spinning as it does, in a U-turn from the top left to the bottom right of the screen. Before it goes off-screen, another black square passes by it from the bottom left to the top right, and a third square crosses over the bottom. The first square then returns from the top left corner of the screen and flies back down its near-original path. However, the squares are revealed to be shadows as the object that's causing it, a white cube block with blue shadowing, descends down low enough to reveal itself before it goes off-screen. It then returns and makes a harsh landing on the left, chipping it significantly, followed by the middle block, and then finally the third block chipping them into the abstract letters "aDF". The company name "AGENCJA DYSTRYBUCJI FILMOWEJ" fades in below "aDF" as the scene zooms out to reveal a range of broken shards in the foreground.

Variant: On Papierowe małżeństwo, the logo is shortened, starting with the first block falling and then fades out before it zooms out. The text is also stretched vertically.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: The sound of wind blowing plays throughout, followed by whooshing for the flying blocks. Once the bricks start to land, a 3-note chime melody plays with a synth drone in the background, 3 drumbeats for the blocks landing, and a final drumroll.

Availability: Seen on Papierowe małżeństwo and Dzieje mistrza Twardowskiego.
