Background

On May 6, 2001, British film studio Redbus Film Distribution was acquired by German media company Helkon Media AG for $23 million, and renamed to "Helkon SK" to reflect its partnership with Helkon Media. On May 6, 2003, Helkon SK ended the partnership after Helkon Media went bankrupt, and changed its name back to Redbus.

Logo (2001-2003)

Visuals: The camera zooms quickly to a land having a sunlight, until it arrives to a small blue Colosseum having a gold searchlight coming from inside, which turns into a big light. The Colosseum zooms and rotates on the screen until it stops, becoming a still vector art. During this, the words "HELKON SK" in a spaced-out gold lettering appear and slowly pan down.

Variant: The logo could be also still.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Some sounds of a radar, followed by a "whoosh" sound.

Availability: It's seen on UK releases such as Bend It Like Beckham, A Walk to Remember, and Republic of Love, among others. The long version was seen on the 2003 version of Hansel and Gretel and Repli-Kate.
