Background

Agogo Studios (formerly Animation Services and Agogo Entertainment) is a Chinese company that animates, produces and distributes TV shows.


Animation Services

1st Logo (September 30, 2000-2002, 2010-2011)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, there is a golden box. Inside it, there is a blue oval with the word "animation" in white. Below it, there is the word "SERVICES" in blue with its Chinese translation in blue, placed underneath that. The logo shines.

Variants:

  • There's a still version.
  • There's an in-credit version of this logo. Here, the Chinese text is removed and "SERVICES" is replaced with "ENTERPRISES".

Technique: 2D animation. None for the variants.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Appears on Timothy Goes to School. The still version appears on Eckhart, while the in-credit one can be found on Gasp!.

2nd Logo (February 28-June 14, 2002)

Visuals: On a dark orange-gradient background, there are some yellow ripples. The same box from before zooms out and shines.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: It was seen on original prints of Season 3 of Mona the Vampire. Also seen on syndicated prints of Timothy Goes to School.

Agogo Studios

Logo (January 6, 2003-)


Visuals: On a black background, there is a rounded lime green square, with the white letters of "AGOGO" jumbled inside it at differing angles. The first "O" is both much smaller and protruding from the top-right of the logo. A registered trademark (®) symbol is to the right of the square, and "AGOGO" below in a white, spaced-out font.

Variants:

  • Cone Control (the first cartoon with this logo) has an early variant, where are the letters are in a completely sharpened version of the square. The white text below is also edited out.
  • On some shows, the logo is in-credit along with other production logos.
  • Some shows, such as The New Adventures of Nanoboy, have the logo on a white background instead. "AGOGO" is in green.
  • There is another variant with black text and an orange background instead as well.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Cone Control, Clang Invasion, the 2003 version of The Berenstain Bears, season 1 of Wild Grinders, among others. Still preserved on reruns and home video releases on the 2003 version of The Berenstain Bears.
