1st Logo

(1998-2005)

Logo: On the sunset clouds background The sunset clouds was moving (reminiscent to 1997 Goodtimes Entertainment logo) we see a P-Head rotating then APT logo was shining then ALABAMA PUBLIC TELEVISION added The logo was fades out.

FX/SFX: The rotating.

Music/Sounds: A two note tune starts the 5 note piano tune at the beginning, similar to 1996 Tyne Tees's Channel 3 North East theme at the end.

Availlabity: Seen at the end documentaries at period, followed by 1998 PBS ident or 1999 American Public Television logo.

2nd Logo

(2005-June 2, 2009)

Logo: Over the live-action footage the town square city footage (a la 1980s WQED logo) APT texting then P-Head logo then ALABAMA PUBLIC TELEVISION then the URL fading in.

FX/SFX: Live-action footage.

Music/Sounds: A five note piano tune then seven note rock-orchestral fanfare and electronic guitar hit at the end.

3rd Logo

(June 2, 2009-June 1, 2011)

Logo: On the black background we see apt then P-Head this logo then ALABAMA PUBLIC TELEVISION zooming in font below.

FX/SFX: The zooming-in

Music/Sounds: A one note orchestral fanfare used Otherwise The logo is silent.
