Annapurna Pictures/Logo Variations

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

These are the logo variations used throughout the years by Annapurna Pictures, with more to be added over time.

The Master (2012):

  • While not disintergrating, it instead fades to black early.

Zero Dark Thirty (2012):

  • The logo starts out normal, turning green briefly. After a while, it turns off for the while. Then, the logo turns back on, flashes green and dims into the green-tinted version of the logo. It ends normally.

The Grandmaster (2013):

  • Snow falls down, until the "A" starts wiping in. There is also a brief language switch to Chinese in the middle of the process. The logo glitches like a VHS at the end. This is only seen on American prints of the film.

American Hustle (2013):

  • On a brown background (which is later used for the opening credits), yellow segments of the "A" appear one by one, while another pair brightens up. The "A" zooms out to make room for the company name from the normal logo, which fades in. After that, it zooms in with a trail effect, segueing into the opening credits.

Spring Breakers (2013):

  • The screen is now rainbow, for a while. Later, the "A" turns pink and the company name turns light blue.

The Bad Batch (2017):

  • The "A" is seen on a landscape at dusk, and lights up in pink and cyan. The text fades in after that.
