Background

Anupam Movies was a Kannada film company from Bangalore, India.

1st Logo (October 11, 1971)

Visuals: Over a black background, 5 white filled stars appears one-by-one in arched format. A white, combined "AM" appears below and a white outline of a circle starts drawing from the top clockwise. After it's done, a big white outline circle at the outer parts of it and a white outline of a rectangle below the bigger white outline appears and "ANUPAM MOVIES" in circled, serif typeface appears between the 2 white outline of the circle letter-by-letter. "BANGALORE" in white, sans-serif typeface wipes in from the top inside the white outlined rectangle.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: Repeating cymbal noises.

2nd Logo (August 29, 1981)

Visuals: There is a silhouette of a mountain with a shiny, five-pointed star rotating on top on a dark-blue background. A set of lights then illuminate the environment, revealing more of the mountain, making the star appear more shiny, and revealing a red aura around the mountain. After a few seconds, the company name "ANUPAM MOVIES" in red with a yellow 3D body fades in front of the mountain.

Technique: Practical effects and chroma-keyed effects.

Audio: While a tampura is rolling in the background, a man singing a Kannada mantra is heard when the company name fades in.
