Background

This is Rita Wilson's production company.

(December 30, 2022-)

Logo: Some purple and blue ink falls onto a surface and spreads across, flowing. Some green and tan ink also fall onto the surface. The ink briefly flows together in a way vaguely reminiscent of a beach by the ocean with a green, tree-covered hill before returning to flow more abstractly again, as the transparent letters "A", "R", and "T" zoom out onto the screen. Many other colors flow as other letter zoom out to form the text "ARTISTIC FILMS". At one point, the ink in the top left corner forms what resembles clouds. Once everything has settled, the final scene behind the text resembles an ocean below with islands (including a large one with two mountains in the top right) and the top left of the sky being a deep red sunset. The first "I" in "ARTISTIC" shines from bottom to top, eventually rising above it to resemble the sun.

Technique: Footage of running ink and photographs of paintings, with 2D computer animation for the text. This was done by Devastudios. Some behind-the-scenes photos of the ink being worked with can be found here.

Music/Sounds: An ambient, twinkly theme with piano and bells (as in the middle school band instrument similar to a small xylophone). Ambient low-pitched. wind sounds can also be heard. Composed by Thomas Newman.

Availability: Brand new. Debuted on A Man Called Otto.
