Background
Astro Records & Filmworks is a German distributor that distributed many classic horror movies.
1st Logo (1997-1999)
Nicknames: "The Vortex"
Logo: First we get to see a spinning vortex in which meteors get sucked in. Then the viewer also gets sucked into it. Then the viewer gets to see a saturn-shaped planet while a light flash passes by and light shines into the viewer. Then there is a zoom-in on the planet and we get to see a spaceship that shoots at the planet. Then we are on the surface where there is a walking tank that is being shot at. Then a tank shoots in space the logo mark "ASTRO FILMS RECORDS & FILMWORKS PRESENTS" and we get a zoom-in on the title. Then the logo is getting shot at and a FSK warning appears on the back of the tank that is flying into the air.
FX/SFX: All in CGI.
Music/Sounds: First, we hear a bell theme with swooshing sounds. This is followed by an upbeat synth theme.
Availability: Seen on some of their earlier horror releases.

2nd Logo (1999)
Nicknames: “The Submarines”
Logo: There are 2 small submarines and a larger submarine. The two smaller submarines comes in on the larger one. Once in vision they each shoot on the larger submarine with a missile. The larger submarine homes its missiles on them, destroying the missiles. It then homes in two missiles of its own onto the two smaller ones, the submarines explodes to reveal the text "ASTRO" in red and "Records & Filmworks" in blue. Then, the words "PRESENTS" fade in, in black.
FX/SFX: All in CGI.
Music/Sounds: A very threatening fanfare.
Availability: Seen on the 1999 German VHS of Cannibal Holocaust among others.

3rd Logo (2000)
Logo: We see two branches holding a shining orb. We then zoom in to the orb, revealing a full moon and the words "ASTRO RECORDS + FILMWORKS" in a futuristic font. The moon moves away from the screen, and wipes in the words "presents" in the process.
FX/SFX: All in CGI.
Music/Sounds: Synth, swooshing sounds and some background noise.
Availability: Seen on a release of Plankton.
