Background

Astro World is a Singaporean video on demand service owned by Astro on Singtel TV. The channel includes content from Astro Ceria, Astro Oasis, Astro Prima and Astro Ria. To access Astro World, the yellow button must be pressed on Singtel TV's remote control while Astro Ria is being broadcasted on Singtel TV.

ID (2009-)

Visuals: On an animated blue gradient background with dust particles flying around, a blue ribbon flies in and moves around the scenery, along with four more. The camera rotates and moves around to show more views of the ribbons flying around, before it zooms out past a ribbon that created a spiral. The two parts of the rectangle used by various Astro channels (with the top part being blue with the Astro wordmark on it, and the bottom part being dodger blue with "WORLD" on it) fly in and form the rectangle as a few ribbons fly in. A flash then appears near the top right of the screen.

Variant: For the break bumper, the camera rotates while zooming out from a wave curve, alongside several wave curves to reveal the logo with both rectangles close in, forming the logo as a light shines on the curve of the bottom rectangle and a white curve draws in behind the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: It starts off with multiple drumbeats, and is followed by an eleven-note orchestral tune, along with a five-note electronic tune.

Audio Variant: For the break bumper, it's just the last few seconds of the ident.
