Athens Olympic Broadcasting
This was the host broadcaster for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Athens 2004 which was set up by the Athens Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (ATHOC) and ERT.
1st Logo (August 13-29, 2004)
Visuals: The first element shown is a man running with pictures of several ancient Greek runners on his trail. Then, there are two people wrestling on a background of ancient Greek wrestlers. Then, there is a woman jumping on a hurdle surrounded by a background of ancient Greek hurdlers. Later, there are an archer aiming with his bow on a background of ancient Greek archers. Then we see three people on bikes and later a field hockey team surrounded by a background of ancient Greek hockey players, then the background changes to an ancient Greek discus thrower while a man throws the discus. Later, there is a woman ready to dive while an illustration of the Athens Olympic Aquatics Centre is seen. Then we see a man holding some rings while the Olympic Stadium and the Athens Olympic Velodrome are illustrated in the background and later another man makes the high jump. Then we see four sailors, an esquestrian athlete jumping and a woman trying to lean on the bar. Later, there are two judokas fighting and two men playing basketball before the Olympic Rings are formed while the back of the Athens 2004 medal is shown. The rings disappear while the AOB logo is shown as the screen fades to white.
Technique: A mix of live-action footage and 2D animation.
Audio: A score composing of traditional Greek instruments and gentle guitar riffs.

2nd Logo (September 17-28, 2004)
Visuals: There is footage of people playing several Paralympic sports on several backgrounds (almost all of them lifted straight from the Olympic intro) with a timer on a different position every time the background changes. Shortly after a shot of ancient Athens, the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games logo appears while the screen fades to white.
Technique: Same as the 1st logo.
