Aurum Producciones/Production Logo: Difference between revisions
Correcting Technique misuse, added 1st logo's proper release date via Logos by Year pages from this wiki, and added description examples (except for the "Seen on Spanish films from the era" part, because I cannot find any information on this, so I'm leaving the AvailabilityExamples template in). |

Background
Aurum Producciones S.A.U. was a Spanish theatrical distributor that was founded in 1994 and based in Madrid. From the mid-2000's, it operated as a subsidiary of Entertainment One, until it was folded into its parent company in 2013. It is named after a Latin name for gold.
1st Logo (January 12, 1996-1999)
Logo: We fade to a blue background. A huge "R" fades in, then the whole screen zooms out to reveal that the background is actually a rectangle with the other letters of the "AURUM" name moving into their positions. An oval with an "A" is seen behind with a moving light illuminating it. The light stops moving and other lights come out of the letters of the name, one-by-one following the last fanfare notes.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A triumphant fanfare.
Availability: Seen on Spanish films from the era. [Examples?]It can be also seen on Spanish prints of international and some US movies, such as Citizen X.
2nd Logo (1999-2013)
Logo: On a blurry blue background with a film countdown timer, we see the 3D letters of "AURUM" being sketched in one-by-one. On the background, the countdown timer fades out and the letters of the company name move in. A transparent oval fades in flipping and the letter "A" gets sketched on it. The letters of AURUM flash one-by-one below the logo and the transparent rectangle behind them is formed by two flashing lines.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A series of whooshes, followed by another triumphant fanfare, this time with drums.
Availability: No longer current. Seen on Spanish prints of international and some US movies, such as Skyline and Austin Powers.
