Revision as of 03:41, 5 November 2022 by SuperMax124 (talk | contribs) (Text replacement - "British logos" to "United Kingdom")

(1990-1992)

Logo: The logo starts with multiple, diagonal tiles covering up the whole screen with each row consisting of three colors: blue, red, and green. On the top half of the screen, half of the rows on that portion begins to move to the right to match the color of the top tile. When all the tiles in the columns matched colors, they all flip and reveal the BBC logo at the time. The remaining tiles at the bottom of the screen zooms towards us, revealing an italicized "ENGLISH" underneath the BBC logo.

FX/SFX: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A two-note tune. The second version uses a six-note techno and a synth tune

Music/Sound Variant: The music variant does have a three-note synth tune and similar to 1976 Viacom V of Doom jingle.

Availability: Seen at the beginning of BBC English VHS tapes such as the BBC Essential English series.

Legacy: None
