Bangkok Film

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st logo (December 22, 1973-1998?)

Visuals: There are multiple cuts of cameramen and camera equipment facing the camera inside a yellow helicopter over a building in the Bangkok area. After a while, there is a shot of the men working inside the flying helicopter while the camera zooms back to reveal it flying away to the sky, as a yellow (or blue) square design with a "C" cut from it, and the yellow Thai text with "BANGKOK FILM" below it, fades in near the bottom-center of the screen.

Technique: A mix of live action and cel animation.

Audio: A marching fanfare. Some films also use a different majestic fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Thong ("The Gold").

2nd logo (September 28, 1975)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is the square-looking alphabet "C". The camera zooms out to show the company name in Thai.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: The zooming out.

Availability: Seen on สาวแรงสูง.

3rd logo (July 17, 1976-May 9, 1979)

Visuals: On blue background, there is the same alphabet from the previous logo, but the camera zooms out slowly to reveal a trail text "Bangkok Film Production" in orange Thai below the alphabet. Finally we see the Thai text "Distributors" in white below the logo.

Variants:

  • A scope or brighter version exists.
  • A less-yellow tinted version also exists.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A bombastic fanfare.

Availability: Appeared on Miraculous 5 (1976), among others.
