Logo (1980s)

Visuals: On a navy blue background, a gold "b" in a 70's-esque style is being wiped in by white lights. While it's doing or so, a green parallelogram filmstrip is being wiped in, then another green filmstrip wipes in, and another horizontal filmstrip wipes in with a rounded form above, which forms a green "F". The logo flashes with the company's name appearing one by one. In the second flash, a white wireframe globe is added on the horizontal filmstrip with the below all white.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A powerful rock theme.

Availability: Appeared on early UK prints of Animalympics, and Escape from New York. Precision Video's pre-cert VHS release of the former keeps this logo intact. This may have also appeared on UK theatrical prints of An American Werewolf in London, Endless Love, The Howling, and Road Games, among other titles.
