Background

Barefoot Films is a German film and series production company founded by German filmmaker Til Schweiger. They were founded in 1995, but didn't use a logo until 10 years later, starting with Barfuss.

Logo (March 31, 2005-)

Visuals: A bright blue light flashes through a cloud of mist on a black background. The logo zooms out from a lowercase "b" in Magneto Bold, which is connected to the company name "barefoot films". The text shifts to the left and stops at the bottom. The mist fades out and converges into the text, turning it silver. Various dancing lights etch the outline of a foot. The foot colors itself gold and two halves of a circle with curved etchings fades in around it, forming an abstract uppercase "B". The logo then shines and the foot's toes flash via a cross wipe.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An ambient synth theme, followed by a descending piano bit finishing with five notes.

Availability: Seen on their films such as Barfuss, One Way, Tschiller: Off Duty, Kokowääh, among others.
