Bawa Movies was a Kannada film production company from India.



1st Logo (December 20, 1968-February 25, 1971)

Visuals: Footage of a peahen with her feathers spread out in the middle of a forest is shown, freezing as the peahen faces towards the camera with her feathers further spread out. "BAWA MOVIES" in a bolded serif typeface fades in front of the feathers in an arched format.

Technique: Live-action footage and fading effects.

Audio: A relaxing sitar-focused composition with some descending swarmandal glissandos.

Audio Variant: In Takka Bitre Sikka, it is silent.

Availability: Seen on Suvarna Bhoomi, Takka Bitre Sikka, and Samshaya Phala.

2nd Logo (July 30, 1975)

Visuals: The logo starts with a closeup of the bottom-half of a peahen model standing on a metallic platform that contains a red "BAWA MOVIES" on the bottom on top of a table in a blue room. The camera slowly zooms away from it, revealing more of the peahen and the table, eventually stopping when the entire peahen is revealed.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: A lively sitar melody with a rolling tampura that ends with a swarmandal glissando.

Availability: Seen on Onde Roopa Eradu Guna.

3rd Logo (November 5, 1981)

Visuals: Over a light blue background, there is a more detailed model of a peahen standing on a white stand, which reads a red, sans-serif "BAWA MOVIES". The camera zooms incloser to it.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: A lively sitar melody with a rolling tampura that ends with a swarmandal glissando.
