Background

BeIN Sports is a Qatari multinational sports channel owned and operated by Doha-based media group BeIN. There are six different BeIN Sports channels across the globe, operating in countries such as the United States, Canada, France, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Turkey, with the international channels being headquartered in Miami, Paris, Istanbul and Singapore for different regions.

1st ID (2014-2017)

Visuals: The sequence starts with a closeup of a white sphere with a purple ring around the center. The sphere opens up to reveal part of a city with a stadium in the middle. In the stadium, various sporting grounds with the players playing said sport. The sports shown, in order, are:

  • Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Tennis

After that, the stadium reverts back to its original place and the camera zooms out whilst the sphere closes up and the channel name in purple fades in on the right.

Variants:

  • Short versions of each sport (especially the one with a stadium) exist.
  • There are different variants including:
    • Version 1:
      • Rugby
      • Athletics
      • Handball
    • Version 2:
      • Motorsport
      • Boxing
      • Volleyball

Technique: CGI and live-action, done by Digital District.

Audio: Robotic sounds at the start, which is followed by a dramatic orchestral piece along with the sounds of the corresponding sports, whooshes, cheering and back to the robotic sounds at the end. Composed by Bogue.

2nd ID (2017-)

Visuals: Essentially the same as the 1st logo, but once the sphere is formed, it rotates a bit before splitting in half, with the second half moving to the right side of the screen. The two hemispheres rotate, forming the new logo, with "beIN" on the left and "SPORTS" on the right, inside a white/purple rectangle, respectively.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.
