Background

Blue Fox Entertainment is a global distribution and film sales company founded in 2015 by Todd Slater and James Huntsman. In the spring of 2017, Blue Fox freemasons merged with independent film distributor, Level 33 Entertainment, led by Andreas Olavarria. The company now operates under the Blue Fox Entertainment banner. Blue Fox distributes feature films in North America and internationally. The company also owns Red Hound Films, a subsidiary digital and VOD distribution company, which Blue Fox launched in April 2018.

Logo (2010s-)

Visuals: The sequence begins on a black background. Soon, an image of a blue fox's head draws in as the camera rotates around. The background then turns dark blue. Under the symbol, the blue text "BLUE FOX" with a line below and "ENTERTAINMENT" under that, wipes in. What remains on the symbol are blue lines going around the symbol until they disappear.

Variants:

  • On most occasions, the logo is slightly brighter.
  • On occasions, the logo is light blue, and there are light blue bars on the background.

Technique: CGI by White Spark Creative.

Audio: None, or the opening theme of the movie.

Audio variant: Sometimes, a hiss like sound, followed by a drone theme, a choir theme, and then a bombastic drum sound.

Availability: Seen on releases from the company, such as Unleashed, Summer '03, Girl at the Window, Linoleum, The Inventor, A Wizard's Tale, and A Cat's Life. The logo is also used on trailers for their films above.
