CCN-Video Entertainment

Logo (Mid 1980s-Early 1990s?)

Visuals: On a black-navy starfield, a white rectangle that has an abstract "VE" (excerpted from the Transeuropa Video Entertainment logo) and "CCN" next to it, in a red-yellow-cyan gradient color, surrounded by a black border inside it, is shown at the top-right corner. It then starts to flip whilst sliding out onto the bottom-left corner. Another white rectangle with the same abstract "CCNVE" logo then flips and slides out at the opposite direction. Then, a white rectangle with the "CCNVE" logo then starts to zoom in and settles in the middle offset. The text "CCN-VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT" stacked horizontally then fades in below. Later on, a slideshow of various movie title screens and clips then start sliding thru the right, which differs varying on tapes. As it goes on, it then fades out with another white rectangle with the "CCNVE" logo flipping and zooming in, which engulfs barely the entire screen. "CCN-VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT" fades underneath, as it slides out for the text "PRESENTA" to slide in.

Variant: A possible early version exists, in which the text "CCN-VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT" is in a computerized font. The end tail animation is slightly delayed. instead of the sliding, the text "CCN-VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT" and "PRESENTA" underneath, both fade in.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A saturated snippet of "War" by Vince DiCola.

Availability: Seen on releases during the time being, including The Producers.
