Background

CEE (I) TV Entertainment was a Tamil-language film production company.

Logo (February 2-December 14, 2001)

Visuals: The logo starts with a white screen which turns away to reveal it emitting from a shiny spotlight. A red/blue background, along with a wireframe and spinning filmreels are overlaid on the screen, and the spotlight fades to a shiny clapperboard closing itself, with its arrows revealing themselves being cut-out as it rotates. The screen then changes to another multicolored background with a bright, shiny camera model slowly rotating, before it fades out to a filmreel rotated horizontally to reveal a close-up of a rotating filmstrip. A reflection of a road can be seen in front of the object. The whole reflection of the screen is then revealed to be coming out from the zooming out word "CINEMA", as the background turns blue. Most of the letters, minus the "C", fade out and squish a bit, and the C turns to a diagonal downwards-right direction, before it flashes. A rectangle appears wiping in behind the flashing C as it reveals a blue/purple gradient sky with red hills, with a "I" wiping in at the center, having a purple/yellow texture, and a red rectangle section sliding below it, containing the white text "CEE (I) TV". Afterwards, the C turns to a red/yellow gradient and the letters "TV" appear glowing in and spinning in front of the "I"; at the bottom, the letters of the white "CEE (I) TV Entertainment Limited" zoom out and rotate to view, while a starry flash appears at the front of the top of the formed logo.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A synth theme at the beginning, which then evolves to a synthesized rhythm and a short ascending orchestral fanfare at the end. Descending chimes and a whoosh are also heard.

Availability: The logo can be seen in Minnale and Majunu.
