Background

Cactus TV is a British television production company that was formed in 1994 by Amanda and Simon Ross. It was originally part of Chrysalis TV Group (later All3Media), but it was split off in 2012 and became independent.

Logo (October 25, 1995-)

Visuals: Superimposed in the credits, or on a black or white background, there is an image of a cactus plant repeated several times. In front of it is the word "cactus" in an Eurostile font.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, this logo also shares the screen with other logos (including the 1988 and 1997 BBC and 1999 Carlton logos).
  • From 1995 to 1999, the byline "A Chrysalis Company" is shown below the logo.
  • From 1999 to 2001, the background is a wallpaper of Chrysalis logos, and the Chrysalis logo is also shown below the logo.
  • From 2001 to 2002, the Chrysalis Entertainment logo is shown below the logo.
  • From 2002 to 2004, the Chrysalis TV Group logo is shown below the logo.
  • From 2004 to 2012, the All3Media logo is shown on the bottom right of the logo.
  • Since 2012, the logo is bylineless.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on shows produced by Cactus TV, such as Incognito, Sports Anorak of the Year, Off the Wall, Upshot, Richard & Judy, King of the Castle, It's Anybody Guess, The 1999 British Soap Awards, The Crime Thriller Awards, Between the Covers, Garraway's Good Stuff and Saturday Kitchen, among others.
