Background

Cairo Movies was a film production company from Egypt.

1st Logo (April 28, 1949-August 9, 1954)

Visuals: On a black background is a circle with a spinning sunburst under a dark shadowy skyline. After a while, Arabic translating to "Cairo Movie Presents", fades in; the text (the company's name), is on the sunburst while the other text (presents), is at the bottom of the skyline.

Variant: There exists an early variant where the text and circle were shown in two separate sequences.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: Either a basic horn fanfare or the film's opening theme.

Availability: Seen on البنات شربات (The Girls are Delightful), حماتي قنبلة ذرية (My Mother-in-Law is an Atomic Bomb), and خليك مع الله (Stay With God). The early version was seen on لمرأة شيطان (The Woman is a Devil).

2nd Logo (May 27, 1974)

Visuals: Over a red background with a spinning flower design, Arabic text reading "كايرو فيلم" zooms in.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A bombastic fanfare.

Availability: Seen on رحلة العجايب.
