Background

CalMaple Media is a production company owned by producers Courtney Solomon and Mark Canton. It is likely the name of the company is based on where either producer is based; California for Canton and Maple referring to Canada where Solomon is. CalMaple focuses on mid to high budget movies, though it appears it was primarily created to secure film rights to the non-fiction story After.
