Background
Capital Film Works, also known by its former name Capital Cinemaa, is a Tamil film company.
Capital Cinemaa
Logo (September 30, 2005)
Visuals: On a white gradient background, a cube with the shape of C's on its sides comes out and starts bouncing all around the screen. After a few seconds, the cube stops bouncing, causing it to float in the air and zoom, after which it starts shaking. The silver text "CAPITAL CINEMAA" fades in below one second after the cube starts floating. The logo stops zooming and a shine passes through the text.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A couple of bouncing sounds. When the cube zooms in, a rattling sound is heard, accompanied by the last part of the 1999 Warner Bros. Pictures theme (in PAL pitch, likely because Indian prints of movies have it in PAL), followed by a "SPREONG!" sound before the last hit plays.
Availability: Only seen on Mazhai.
Capital Film Works
Logo (August 2, 2007)
Visuals: Same concept from before, but the cube has been redesigned to include "F" at the top and a "W" at the right, and it faces differently. The name has been replaced with "CAPITAL FILM WORKS".
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Rubbery bouncing sounds at the start. Once the animation begins, a motor-like whoosh is heard. The rattling noise is heard once the cube zooms in, followed by a strumming of a guitar when the text shines.
Availability: So far, only seen on Chennai 600028.
