Background

Castle Hendring was a joint venture between Castle Home Video and Hendring Limited, founded in 1988.

(1988-1990)

Logo: The background is split into 2 sections, the top being black and the bottom being dark blue. The yellow text "CASTLE" slides up from the split between them, while another yellow text "HENDRING" slides down from the bottom of the two colors. Then three red triangles then appear one by one in sync to the music, located beside "CASTLE" and flashing when they appear. Then a turquoise rectangular border then fades in all around the logo, as it gains a shadow effect.

Variant: A long version exists where the full Hendring logo sequence plays out, but after the red button is pushed, black bars close the picture out and then this logo plays.

Technique: The sliding words, the triangles appearing, the rectangle fading in.

Music/Sounds: An abridged version of the Hendring music, which starts with the long droning tone.

Music/Sounds Variant: For the extended version, the full music of the Hendring logo plays.

Availability: Seen on various children's cartoons and concert videos during the time.
