Clock (1985)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a cartoon Santa with blue words "Merry Xmas from Channel 4".

The VT clock is white, the center is replaced by a BBC globe, the clock hand is replaced by a human hand pointing and the VT clock has the steel blue numbers 40, 30, 20, 15, 10 and 5. Around the VT clock, there are the ITV stations. The globe later zooms out, and after the hand reaches the "2" mark, it does the 2 fingers jesture, and afterwards doing the "zero" jesture after it reaches the "0" mark. The hand later wipes the VT clock out with a teal rag.

Technique: A mix of 2D computer animation and CGI.

Audio: A synth rendition of ITV's stations.

Availability: Seen on Channel 4 Christmas Tape 1985.
