Background

In 1996, FilmFour International changed its name to Channel Four Films for a short time.

Logo (May 24, 1996-1999)

Visuals: On a dark background, filled with greenish sun blinks is the white text "CHANNEL FOUR FILMS" slowly zooming in. Then, the left side of a big "4" zooms from beyond and takes "FOUR" inside, making it black. The number is made from two bars and a dot.

Variant: A shortened version exists, which appears on Brassed Off.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A dark but good ambient soundtrack with ascending booming near to the end.

Availability:

It appears on Brassed Off, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Secrets & Lies.
It also originally appeared on the 1998 film Croupier, but subsequent releases (even the earlier DVD releases) plaster it with the Film4 logos.
It was also seen again on an unknown film in 1999.
